    Possibly an opportune moment to review your portfolio as a whole. Revisit your original thinking as to the allocations you decided to make. Easy to follow the herd in a bull market and go with the momentum. Less so when the herd stampedes for the exits. Uncertainty kicks in.

    I’ve left my DC investment in the default target date plan and switched all future contributions to a cash plan. I’ve got 18 months to ride out and the perfect time to be thankful for a DB backbone!

    Mine's up 1300% on the day. I think the Scottish Widows website is having a moment :D
    This morning it was saying ~£400k, which is more like what I was expecting it to say.
    More seriously, in principle I've got basic necessities covered for the first five years of retirement with a gilt ladder. Providing nothing catastrophic happens, I expect to be able to ride out the current US administration.

    Yes, I can confidently advise you to have sold to cash 4 weeks ago.  When to buy back in?  I will tell you in 5 years time.....
