Thats a much better off peak rate than my EOn - c17p and about to go up c2p in Apr.
But like e7 - e10 rates can I suspect be very regional  (since the demise of economy10.com website - paid for by 1 user - apart from EDF who openly publish their rates - its difficult to tell)

Which is why I might talk to Octopus once the RTS panic is out of the way about a meter upgrasde and SNUG.
Or maybe even now EDF about E10.

Hopefully the cat - and maybe even your OH - will be even happier - once the 8pm boost kicks in later.

Sit back and enjoy a well earned break from all the stress of the meter change and CS dealings.

Smets 1 still - I did ask EOn about an upgrade - but they were non commital.  Others have apparently been refused.
Sine it's been integrated to DCC I believe I could move - subject to someone offering E10.

Before and after for maybe 1-2 years after going E10 - I did phone around - at one stage only SP would quote me of the few of the big 6 I tried - and none of the challangers did - and SP were more expensive.

And it's getting quite old now anyways.   I must actually look to see if I can see the date on it sometime.

    Edit
And as a low user - my last annual estimate just under £1000 cf your £2500 - it takes more p on rates difference to save £s to make the hassle / risk worthwhile. When if goes wrong - it could cost £10s

Turned one of the heaters down , as bedroom is very warm now especially after the 8 pm till 10 pm charge

.. this was my IHD this morning , yesterday on full charge overnight  for both heaters I had used 33 kwh … does this look right ?? I’ve only turned it down from 5 to 4 … it’s a lot less .. Almost half of yesterday kWh

Storage heaters are like a bucket of heat.
Yesterday, because you now have ten hours of charging not seven, the heaters weren't cold (bucket wasn't empty) by the end of the day.
Overnight, you've only had to top up the bucket rather than fill it from empty. Also you've turned down a thermostat (asked one bucket not to be so full).
So yes, you wouldn't expect to put anything like 33kWh into the heaters overnight last night.
You're probably going to find yourself adjusting the thermostats a bit more before you get to the stage of storing just enough heat, rather than too much (which is wasteful) or too little (where the heaters run out early).

Turning up and down input thermostat tends to over or under use power for at least one charge cycle or day.

So leave as is and energy use might well bounce back (id say guaranteed to in my experience) a bit as re balances at new settings.

On e7 it can take a couple of days (nights)  but e10s 3 cycles make it faster.

Have I really used all that yesterday… I only had washer on and dryer on for one cycle each…air fryer for 15 mins ….that seems a lot of peak electric …

plus usual things running in background , fridge tv etc … minimum stuff

The chart might not be accurate for cost, as you've recently changed tariffs from E7 to E10.

I hate this IHD …. I’m throwing it out lol … I watching everything …

I’ve  dropped down to 36 kWh up to now today …got the 8 till 10 pm off peak to go yet … I used to use around 44 kWh a day so trying to staying around that if I can

tumble dryer is expensive… I never knew they were that bad 😫😫😫😫😫

price is more on E10 ..by around 3p more off peak , and standing charge is a whopping 71.7p

Octopus have fantastic prices for snug ..but you have to be a customer first

plus I’m scared to change in case anything goes wrong 😫
