You may wish to follow up and add that 30 minutes to properly hear a Claim and a detailed Counterclaim is simply not enough. The hearing should be at least 90 minutes if both Claims proceed onwards.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just sent a follow up email thank you very much.

In the meantime, I'll start working on Witness Statement etc and get ready for the hearing.

Good morning. Despite receiving a court hearing order on my first case, and completing AoS on the second case, both cases in MCOL portal are reflected as at "AoS", nothing changed since pretty much April. Is this normal? In the first case, they definitely received my defence and counterclaim.

    Its not normal

The first case should have your defence etc logged and sent to the claimant

Your MCOL claim history should show more information,  including dates etc, so more details than above,  so I suspect that you havent looked in the right place,  or havent clicked onto each individual case

    But

If any of the cases are with your local civil court,  once the CNBC sent them out then MCOL is no longer updated, so that is usually why it has no further involvement or updates, they arent involved once cases are transferred to a civil court

This is all I've got here.

That is what a claim history looks like

It tells you that they transferred the case to the court in St Helens.  So its never updated after the transfer because they are no longer involved

The case is now dealt with by St Helens civil court,  unless you asked St Helens civil court to transfer the case to your local civil court

So its a matter between yourself and the court that is dealing with it,  that court will post letters to you  ( you cannot check it online   )

    It's fine.

Might be because you counterclaimed. The process is different: cases get transferred straight out and the DQ is is then sent and returned to the local court (not the CNBC who have no involvement).

Did you choose St Helens? Just checking.

I chose my local Medway County Court. St Helens, they transferred to it automatically but I asked them to move to a local one. The hearing will be in Thanet Court though but that's not too far.

OK,  so deal with Thanet court, bearing in mind that MCOL and St Helens civil court have no involvement,  so no updates from them, only from Thanet court
