Its a court order, not an invitation   !

Ensure that you have completed and submitted your Witness Statement plus Exhibits bundle to both parties involved by that deadline on the 2nd page of the court order above

OK so now you know your WS and evidence deadline from that Order. Search for witness statements that cite Chan and Akande.

Include that silver bullet email (I've copied it above) as an exhibit!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As it's late October, I understand I need to complete and email all this not later than 10 days before the hearing, as far as I understand?

Not sure where it says that?

Looks like you and Gladstones have to agree a joint bundle which they then file by email.

Joint bundle means your WS and evidence plus theirs.

I've provided the court hearing notice in my first post today I have not received anything else, and it does not mention any dates. I've not heard from Gladstones either.

It will be worth checking about the hearing fee; because, both the claim and the counterclaim will be struck out if it isn't paid.

True. If the C fails to pay you need to pay the hearing fee to keep the CC alive.

I'd email the court now telling them that they must NOT strike out your CC and you are ready and waiting to pay the hearing fee in the event of the C failing to do so and seeing their claim struck out. Yours must continue.

Something like this? Straight to County Court at Thant (where the hearing will take place)?

"Subject: Hearing Fee – Counterclaim – Claim No. XXX

    To whom it may concern,

I am the Defendant and Counterclaimant in the above case, with a hearing currently listed for XX October 2025 at Thanet County Court.

I understand that if the Claimant fails to pay the hearing fee, both the claim and my counterclaim could be struck out.
Please note that I do not wish my counterclaim to be struck out in such circumstances. I am ready and willing to pay the hearing fee myself in the event that the Claimant fails to do so, and I ask the court to contact me promptly should this situation arise so I can make the necessary payment to keep my counterclaim active.

    Kind regards,
    [Details]"

Yep. Add ask what the fee deadline is.

Then phone up the day after it, to check!
