Yes, I agree. Although I got accustomed over the two years to the idea of hearings, witness statements, 400-page bundles etc, sometimes I had to remember that I was doing all this for no good reason - I literally parked in my own parking space that I got with the flat, it was my first home purchase, I wanted my own space, I only lived there for 6 months, I saved money to buy a new car, and when I changed it, I was two weeks late to get the new "permit".

Even before the final hearing, the Gladstones rep, who seemed like a decent enough fella outside of the situation we ended up in, he was trying to chat up to me casually, and when he thought it was our time next, he told me about it. After all, he had to sit there with me for 6 hours waiting on a 15-minute hearing. I completely ignored him.

I had to remind myself that he was about to argue to steal from me £450 for no good reason, on top of £200+ I already paid, notwithstanding all the time and nerves I wasted preparing for this parade of lunacy.

So although I'm glad this is finally over, I'm still quite disgruntled with how I was treated, though in the hindsight, I still don't regret fighting them.
