But you should be asking the actual court itself to transfer it, not the CNBC ( so St Helens civil court )
I'll write something up for the St Helens court, thanks.
By all means complain by email to the CNBC in Northampton about the error , but to get it transferred to a civil county court near you, you write to St Helens, Merseyside, court, not the CNBC
So the way I understood it, you emailed the wrong place in the wrong town or city , hence my reply1 -
This isn't complicated. Complete the allocation questionnaire and complete box F1 - submit that the court should be changed on the basis that the appropriate court is the local court of the unrepresented defendant not that of the claimant's solicitors. Furthermore, the witnesses reside proximate to X county court.
Nice that the claimant seeks to argue the counterclaim is inappropriately drafted and that the £300 unspecified. I imagine without even looking much the same criticism can be levelled against the claimant PPC.4 -

This stage (info all about the N180) is in the first 12 steps and in the NEWBIES thread too. Just DON'T follow the usual advice to email it to the CNBC because with a Counterclaim case, they aren't involved now.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes. It should have been provided with the notice of proposed allocation. It appears you've not had it, so download that form, complete it and return it. There's no downside to proactively completely the N180 but there is to not filing one at all. Send it to the court and defendant.

This is a weird one because I don't even think Gladstones are anywhere near St Helens either?!
@Coupon-mad I make it a 20 min drive. From Gladstones to the Court.
It's the only explanation - that a busy court clerk mistakenly is treating the claimant/part 20 defendant as the defendant and taking their address on the claim form, while overlooking the fact that the Defendant/Part 20 Claimant (o/p) is unrepresented.
UKCPM are, conversely, in your back yard I believe. Surprised you've not completed personal service on them yet, if only for the lark....3 -
I've now returned the N180 form both to the Claimant and the Court. I did not get any notification that they received it however so hopefully it went fine.0
