  • A bit of a late starter but I'd like to join this challenge. Not only do I let money flow from purse like water at lunch time, I tend to go for the not so healthy options too. So I see this as a double incentitive to get back on track with my spending and my healthy habits :j

I'm going to spend some time at the weekend googling lunch ideas and will have a varied and interesting lunch everyday next week, preferably leftovers which will cost nothing.

    Morning all

I had a post prepared, then I decided to change my signature, then I lost my post, then I did it again, then I forgot to save it so here we are again:p . Need more coffee......

Monday £0 - bagels with ham & coleslaw and hula hoops. No can so had water to save a bob
Tuesday - 95p - cheese rolls with ham & coleslaw, can Irn Bru (95p), hula hoops
Wednesday - 95p - leftover chicken sandwiches, hula hoops, can Irn Bru (95p). I know, I know, need to visit Farmfoods
Thursday - £5 - boiled eggs and bagels, hula hoops, 24 cans from Farmfoods
Friday £0 - ham & tomato sandwiches, hula hoops

Now I just have to try to NOT let my daily average go over a quid a day.

    I'll start this.

I often go to Tesco's/Wilkinson's etc on my break, spend about £10 on food, which then only lasts me about two days.

I plan to spend about £8 a week.
