    Hi Everyone

Not much going on for me, just putting one foot in front of the other and keeping my hands out of my purse. Two more days of no spending will see my daily average go down. Well, the fiver for 24 cans from Farmfoods last week knocked me out of kilter.

Monday - £0 - sandwiches with leftover chicken, Irn Bru, Hula hoops
Tuesday - £0 -bagel with boiled egg, Irn Bru, snack a jacks
Wednesday - £0 - 3-tier sandwich with ham & cheese, Snack a Jack, Irn Bru
    Grocery Challenge M: £450/£425.08 A: £400/£.May -£400/£361 June £380/£230 (pages 18 & 27 explain)

I would love to take part, currently I'm spending a small fortune either buying myself lunch or lending money (never to be seen again) to change-less coworkers. I think I may start to even leave my purse at home.

I've only ever actually suceeded at this challenge back in January, since I lapsed (middle of Jan :undecided) I can't seem to get back on the wagon!

I have no money this week to even buy pack up lunches so I'm having dinners out of the canteen at work, the lady from the catering company doesn't come in till next week to take the money so I can pay then. Now I have a feeling this will show me that I should start being more careful with my money that I spend for lunches as £2.47 a day isn't too bad but £12.35 in one go for this week's lunches makes me feel ill!!!

No spend week so far! *smug and surprised!*

I had a chunky salad of carrot, celery, orange pepper and beetroot, a chopped up chicken breast with cajun spice on, and a yeo valley low fat yoghurt thing... and an apple for a snack earlier. x
  • Today was homemade chicken soup from left over chicken legs, carrots, onions & Parsnips. Which was edible, and not bad, but no depth to it - not the best i have eaten! Back to sandwiches tomorrow! Still keeping it at £0!!:T

So far this week, here's how I've done, and I'm going to have to buy lunch today (but plan on going to Boots to use Advantage Points!)

Monday - Bacon & Tomato Sandwich & Cup a soup
Tuesday - Bacon Sandwich & Cup a Soup (with cherry tomatoes)
Wednesday - Chilli Jacket Potato & Salad (working at home)
Thursday - Chilli Jacket Potato & Salad (at Fat Cat - £3.95)
    Friday - Boot's Lunch Deal

So, not bad but could do better! Had a lovely catch up yesterday with some old colleagues so it was worth it!
In case you think I'm a bit repetive with my lunches, I've just found out I'm anemic so I'm watching what I eat (as well as taking iron tablets). Please, please let me know if you have any exciting other ideas which are full of iron, or I might go mad!
