  • I'm doing much better this week and haven't spent anything on lunch. I've successfully avoided buying chocolate at work though it's been difficult!

*saunters in, hoping everyone's been naughty* :o

In my defence, I usually wake up at 6.45am but my alarm didn't go off (or it did and I didn't hear it ) so no time to prepare anything.

    Pizza n salad £2.47 :o

can i be your friend please!!!!!!!!!

    yum yum!

    Of course :rotfl:

The crispy duck was lush! All i had to do was heat the duck and the pancakes in the microwave, bring it back to my desk and build them up and eat!

It strikes me that duck meat microwaves so well and still tastes juicy (not dry at all(probably has something to do with it being such a fatty meat) ). Duck has potential for lunches....

Most of my lunch time meals will be adapted from leftovers from the day before, will the recipies still be valid for this thread? I think it's a vailid DFW thing as you get an evening meal for x people and a lunch time meal for x people with the leftovers, you don't waste a thing.

If so I can post the crispy duck recipie up sometime this weekend if anyone wants it.

Anyway my grand lunch total is £0 for this week (I'm working from home tomorrow so won't spend anything at work's canteen).

Speak to you soon people, have fun!

I have leftover mashed potato and frozen veg for lunch.
    And an orange.

Am quite, quite miserable about it! :(

  • 50p on some minni cheddars this morning and 1.28 on lunch today. I did go for a cheaper lunch option at the shop so it could have been worse.
  • Hi All :happylove <--- in case (like me) no hearts forthcoming

bobadog your lunch was just like mine, except mines was rice & veg and yep, I'm with you on the miserable-ness. But, bright side? It was free!

I've had no cans for two days and have endured WATER!! I bought a dozen cans last Monday and they were meant to last a fortnight but someone scoffed them.

Monday - £2.30 - baguette with Egg mayo salad
Tuesday -£0.50 - HM mac & cheese (leftovers and a cake from Greggs, hence 50p
Wednesday - £0 - Boiled egg sarnies, crisps and water (Diet coke from last week all finished:mad: )
Thursday - £0 - leftover risotto and veg. The things I do to save a buck
