Well, feeling a wee bit deprived, but no spend again for me! Had a cuppa soup (no time to make anything tis morning - hence the reason for my feeling of deprivation - cuppa soup was yuk!) & a slice of wholewheat bread, then a plum, a satsuma & a banana. Oh, well, at least my diet and money saving is on track...

    Thu 3/1 £0
    Fri 4/1 £0
    Mon 7/1 £0
  • Well i've started well - only thing is I forgot that i am going to Bingo tonight (it's free!) and will need to buy something for my tea - however I intend to go to Boots on the way and get a meal deal with my points so thats kinda free! ;)

Week 2 - must be better than week 1 (total £7.19 for 3 days!)

but I really had the munchies today ..... total £1.95 - still had porridge for breakfast but managed not to buy a coffee so that was a start. Bought jacket potato but brought in own filling (good again). Let down by buying toast with peanut butter at 3.30 when bored!

    Try harder tomorrow ....

8 January - organised and brought own breakfast in today and wasn't going to have coffee but boss persuaded me! Ended up going out with friend at lunchtime so not good again! Total £3.48!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9 January - £2.45 for breakfast - went to gym with all good intentions of going straight home afterwards but bumped into a friend and ending up staying for tea and toast. But £0 for lunch ... onwards and upwards

  • I spent £1.60 on 2 loaves of bread and £2 on 12 cans of pepsi max as supplies for this challenge so do they count?

I had a brilliant piece and crisps for lunch washed down with a can of juice and a galaxy which i bought before i finished up for christmas but had left in my drawer - yummy yummy

We are having a compitition in work to see who can last the longest without spending at lunch

  • Week 2! Good start. Back at work, which is my downfall, not preparing before I go leading to buying anything and everything! Have arranged to have lunch with a mate again on Wednesday, but will hopefully be fairly cheap and it' a 'night out' for me. Ha ha! And if I manage to spend nothing on lunch the other days won't be so bad!

    Mon 7th - Zero!
Tues 8th - Zero! Yee haw! *closes eyes tight at tomorrow's potential lunch out total!*
Wed 9th - £9.65 It was lunch out!!! And since I only had one piece of toast this morning by 2pm I was hungry!!!
    Thu 10th - Zero!
    Fri 11th -
