Struggled this morning too! No leftovers from last night, couldn't think what I had that would go together, and I was sooo tempted just to succumb to the canteen, but managed to get together a potato to bake, tin of tuna and some veg, so it should be a £0 day again.... phew!

Another NSD for me! Feeling very smug - resisting all offers of chocs & crisps by colleagues too (so far!) Have went so far as to leave my purse at home so can't buy anything...

    Mon 7/1 £0 - cuppa soup & bread; fruit
    Tue 8/1 £0 - quiche & salad; fruit
Wed 9/1 £0 - HM tuna pasta salad; fruit

This is a great challenge - really keeping me on track as I don't want to have to post my failure on here for all you DFW's to see!
  • I knew I'd give in today but having to edit my signature is so motivating! In two weeks and only two days of buying lunch, I've spent over £8! Scary - imagine if I was still buying every day!!

Hello all - home made veg soup in a flask for me today but I forgot to buy bread so had to purchase a (rather large and lovely in fact) granary roll from the canteen for 50p.
