Nice overpayment this month Louise. Impressed & jealous. Good for you.
Thanks for that Jorgan it is a bit of a catch up as the last few months have been about £40 and thats it:o
I forgot to post the cheque though Grrrrrrrrrrrr:mad:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
I had a really horrible case of phneumonia a couple of years ago which I still blame on carrying on and trying to ignore that I was ill, going into work and pushing myself too far. I ended up with a collapsed lung and now I actually listen to my body instead of putting the earplugs in:rolleyes:
This happened to Mr SMF2 too (but not the collapsed lung:eek:) when our kids were small and we were run ragged. Scary.0 -

Well by doing extra bits of work and Mystery shopping I have surprised myself and made over £300 this month:j
Some of it I wont get till next month and some of it is in vouchers but it all spends especially for Christmas.:D
I am very tired though as most of my days off have been spent earning extra income:o , think I will just enjoy December
I am almost done with my Christmas Shopping with just a few bits and bobs to get for the boys and Hubby (Boots points will come in handy;) ).But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Well Done you:T:T:T0

I am doing dismally with my grocery challenge this month although I have bought several jars of herbs and spices to help with Home Made recipes.
Even with those though I have somehow managed to spend almost £300 this month:eek:
It just seems as though we are eating our way through a mountain of food every week, although we have cut out all but 1 takeaway a month which would up the food bill I suppose. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Me too -overspending - this month Lou, and trying to diet means that I'm buying more fish, meat and tons of fresh veg instead of filling up on the frozen veg and lots of carbs.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
Mortgage balance: £36,210

I guess I have spent more on SW type meals too and I have spent very little at work if anything on meals during the day.
We just keep running out of stuff:rolleyes:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
November pay has just hit the bank so I can now work out just how much I can allocate to December's overpayment.
I have just read this thread right the way through from the first page, it is rather strange looking over your life for the past year. I will be musing over my achievements/failings over the year soon and setting my 2009 targets.
I have already set an ambitious target for overpayments but I also want to contrubute to our savings pot and re-evaluate our investments.
Did I really change jobs twice this year:eek:
I will be looking at my November budget over the weekend which I already know I have gone way over:o and will be setting my budget for December.
See you all soon:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Well I have £250 earmarked for Decembers overpayment so that means
Drumrole........................................
I have reached my target for the year of £3720 in overpayments:j
I will be back soon with my 2009 targets:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0
