Well I got a cheque from the client for £57.50 and Quidco have paid £6.50 for this month (I am still waiting for a big one for £150 from an orange contract I took out in July)
Thats £139 extra in the pot so far this month.
I had an interesting conversation with a colleague today regarding houses to let in my area. She is in charge of finding students accommodation and there is a distinct lack of houses to let in the immediate area.
I am now thinking about the possibility of buying a second house to keep as a let property(with a buy to let mortgage) ................I think I need to do alot of homework.
Well done on the extra in the pot:T:T:T. When are you thinking buying the BTL?0 -

We have thought about it and have decided that BTL isnt for us.
OK this new rate cut has got me pretty excited as I will be keeping my payment to A&L fixed at the standard payment of £481.30 which is already including an overpayment amount of £68.
I have done a rough calculation and with the 1.5% interest cut I stand to be overpaying another £80 ish:j Kerrrrrr Chinggggg:D I will be ringing on Tuesday to get an exact figure. My new rate will be 3.24%:T
I havent done much in the way of extra income since I last posted but I have got a on off training session to deliver on Tuesday which should bring in £90 for the pot.
Had a lovely night last night as we had family and friends around for a firework party, We spend £10 on a box but others brought a contribution and we had a good hours worth of fireworks. Lots of jacket pots with cheese and chilli and hot dogs for the kids...........all in all a lovely, enjoyable and inexpensive night. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Carried out some private training this morning so that is another £90 for the pot:j
Looks like the budget is going well too although it is only the 11th:rolleyes:
Off to see if there are any MShops up for grabs or surveys to complete. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Good to see your back on track Louise. Keep up the good work, it will be worth it.0

Thanks Jorgan, I hope so. I intend to take advantage of the interest cut and overpay as much as possible while it is down so that when it does go back up again (and it will) there will be less of a capital on which to charge interest:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0

Oh I also lost 2lbs this week at my slimming club (had to do something I was getting desperate and at the point of needing a whole new wardrobe in a larger size)
Thats 2.5lbs off so far I want to loose a stone before Christmas so I will be shrinking along side my mortgage:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
