Mr Kipling does a mini battenburg which I can have as if I buy a full size one like in the picture I would eat the lot:o
We had our monthly take away tonight at a cost of £15 for 4 of us. We had chicken kebabs and boys had a pizza.
I have to say that we havent missed takeaways very much at all but enjoyed the one we had this evening. I am determined not to have another one this month though. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
LJ - "all things in moderation" seems appropriate here as you note, rather than abstinence. Well done0

Monday Mornings come around far too quickly. I have a mystery shop scheduled for tomorrow £10 and some extra training which will bring in a total of £40 so £50 this week in extra income.
Hoping to send a cheque off tomorrow for another £300 to add to my £222 already paid. Need to have a good look at the finances for the rest of the month but I think that I will be OK.
Its almost time for my first year round up and look back on the year to see how much progress I have made. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Feeling really sick and dizzy today for some reason
guess I have picked up a bug from the great unwashed at work (I am talking teenagers here so quite an accurate description);)
Have been asked to do a urgent MS so that is another £10 for the pot.
Thats £60 extra made today:j
I have written out a cheque for £300 to send to A&L so that makes my overpayments for this month £522.
I only have £243 in my account now to last till next Friday's payday but I think that will be more than enough plus Family Allowance goes in next Tues also.
I just need to find the energy from somewhere to go and do these Mystery Shops:o what I really feel like doing is going for a lie down. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
:jthat's brilliant LJ, well done.
I hope you're feeling better soon, have you had something to eat and maybe a couple of paracetomol.
xx
Yes I am picking at fruit and have had a ryvita with some cottage cheese on. Think I will have a bit of a lie down and so the MS around 2pm.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Managed to get to slimming club and have lost another 1.5 lbs this week:j
I am also feeling much better too. I have rested alot today and I am a great believer in the healing power of sleep.
I had a really horrible case of phneumonia a couple of years ago which I still blame on carrying on and trying to ignore that I was ill, going into work and pushing myself too far. I ended up with a collapsed lung and now I actually listen to my body instead of putting the earplugs in:rolleyes:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Nice overpayment this month Louise. Impressed & jealous. Good for you.0
