Hi everyone, just an update and some advice please. So I submitted my questionnaire ahead of receiving it through the post while I went on holiday. Now I am back I can see the court as sent me my questionnaire. Do I need to do this as well or just leave what I have emailed? I had the automated response from the Dq.CNBC email but nothing else. Also I can see I have an automated message left on my voice mail from DCB legal saying they want to talk to me urgently lol - I presume this is to try and settle. It says to call back but I will just ignore. Any advice welcome many thanks.0

Check your MCOL claim history, only you can see it , it tells you where you are up to, same as checking your bank account
If it states that you have submitted your N180 DQ document then file the paper document that arrived in the post, a
Along with the claim form and the lawyers DQ form, no paperwork at these stages
Study the 12 steps in the defence template thread and ignore the lawyers contact, no calling them, no replies either ( but I hope that you emailed a copy of the N180 form to the lawyers as well as the CNBC ?2 -
@Gr1pr Thank you for your reply and this advice. Yes I cc’d two contacts at DCB legal into the email with the questionnaire email. I will check my MCOL claim history in the morning and update you with the progress. Your guidance is much appreciated.

@Gr1pr This is how it reads on the MCOL. It says ‘you filed a DQ’.Does this mean I just keep the paper DQ sent by the court for my own records and no need to reply to anything further for the time being? From what I understand I just want to confirm is the next stage a mediation appointment and will they write to me telling me the date and time of this?0

This is the MCOL status. Strange how it’s all the same date?

Update: had a text to say ‘ Small Claims Mediation Service: Mediation Reminder: Claim ********, 09/05/2025 between 09:30-12:30. Please refer to your email/letter with details you must read before the appointment. Not sure what they want me to read as I haven’t had an email or letter. Any advice for the appointment or what to expect?0

The advice for mediation is in the 12 steps in the defence template thread and the 2nd post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements , a 5 to 10 minutes phone call, so expect an unknown number to phone you
The email tends to go into the recipients spam folder1 -
