RWG Down for me - anybody else?

    Have you tried swapping the sims to see if it works in the other phone?
    Thanks, yes I had tried that but my SIM doesn't work in any phone. My partner's phone still works, how long for, who knows. She's a very light mobile user so the 50/250 is enough for her, but she needs it to log on to banking etc, so it would be a pain if it suddenly stops working. Perhaps I should get her to PAC elsewhere before it's too late.

    When you say it doesn't work exactly what is/isn't happening?

    As another rwg sim works in your phone it seems unlikely to be either phone or mast related.
    What is being displayed?

    NO SIM?
    INVALID SIM?
    NO NETWORK?
    EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY?
    NOW?

    In answer to your second paragraph, this is happening to me all the time. In addition to my original post, I'm now not getting OTP's from the bank. RWG seem to be degrading the service by the day.
    Re: the APN. A correct APN is needed for IMS without which VoLTE (or VoNR) and VoWifi won’t work. 

    So generally speaking, a correct APN IS needed for calls nowadays following the switch off of 3G. 

    The 'Free £15 ukrwg1' SIM has never supported VoLTE or Calls over Wi-Fi.
    In which case it won't work as 3G has been switched off and consumers are migrated away from 2G. Which might explain why it's ending. 
    Rwg have never confirmed that they have introduced VOWIFI or VOLTE but they are still selling plans with calling included.
    Ee coverage checker says there is no 3g coverage in my area but my rwg sim still works for calls;

    My SIM says Emergency calls only in both phones. My partner's SIM works in both phones and displays the network Now. It's definitely the SIM that's not working.

    Can you get into settings/mobile networks/scan networks or similar?

    If wifi is off you are unable to use mobile Internet?

    Had similar problem for a few weeks, more often than not sim not detected, turn off and on ok for varying amounts of time, sometimes when turn on spends ages searching for network sometimes needs to be turned off and on a few times, very rarely make or receive calls.

    My wife and I have given up on RWG. Couldn't contact them at all and could no longer make or receive any calls. OTP's from the bank were getting very hit and miss, so decided to cut our losses and went to Talk Mobile via SIM Sherpa (which gave us a good deal). We've decided to not port our old numbers in case the problems follow us.

    So far, touch wood, Talk Mobile have been excellent - got the SIM's within 2 days (which came fully activated) and now we have a full service. Not sure whether we stand any chance of getting money back from RWG? We both have about £14.50 balance on the SIMs.

    I'm in the process of getting a disabled friend who I had on RWG onto 1pMobile and wonder if anyone has any experience of getting a PAC code off RWG?

    Tested it yesterday and today and get a message 'you have already requested....your 0 code is N/A and will expire' yesterday said 3/7/25 today says 3/8/25. Before yesterday I hadn't asked for a pac.

    Got one for my NOW sim but also have a Gamma esim from them and can't seem to get a PAC code for it
