My wife and I both have an RWG 'Free £15 ukrwg1' SIM on Pixel phones. For the last few weeks we have been unable to make or receive any voice calls. 4G mobile data is fine and we can still send and receive SMS messages and also receive OTP's from the bank. But try to make a voice call and 'nada'. All we get is a 'Call Ended' message after a few seconds. Unable to contact RWG Helpline as can't connect to 669. I've filled in a Help Form on RWG's website but it could take a while to get a reply, if ever.I also understand that RWG are going to 'pull' the 'Free £15 ukrwg1' SIM in November 2027 so we are on borrowed time anyway. We've had good value with these SIM's over the past few years but it's a shame if we have to ditch them now and go onto a monthly contract, something we've managed to avoid for many, many years.

I certainly don't blame you for giving up on RWG but you don't have to have a monthly contract, just get a SIM with someone like 1pMobile or Asda Mobile and pay them about £5 or 6 each month and you'll get good service and can stop anytime you like (no contract but admittedly you will be paying each month).
You'll be paying more than you did with RWG but it'll work and you'll get some customer service if you need it0 -
Mine cut out a couple of weeks ago - came back when I turned the phone off and on again. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

I wonder if they will pulling the £5 tariff too. Ive got two of these sims. How did you find out they are dropping the £15 deal?
Mines been fine but ive noticed more and more that people who ring me its going straight through to voicemail. They tell me they cant get hold of me. My phone never rings even if i have bars showing on the phone. It will ping to say i have voicemail though.0 -
RWG haven't yet cancelled all the original 50/250 SIMs. My partner has one of these which is still working normally, but mine is showing "Emergency calls only".
I would also like to know where the info came from about the £15 SIMS being cancelled in November 2027. I have one of these also to which I have added some credit, intending to eventually use it as my main SIM when my current EE contract ends.0 -

Tried that many times. Makes no difference. I'm reluctant to do a Factory Reset, though.0 -

My phone never rings even if i have bars showing on the phone. It will ping to say i have voicemail though. On one of the extremely rare occasions I got through to the Helpline on 669, the agent told me that RWG were going to pull the Free £15 SIM in November 2027. As part of the answer to my problem, the agent suggested I check the APN setup. This is rubbish, as the APN only controls mobile data, not voice calls. In answer to your second paragraph, this is happening to me all the time. In addition to my original post, I'm now not getting OTP's from the bank. RWG seem to be degrading the service by the day.2
