In London. Not working for me either. I have 1 of the original 50/250MB/totally free RWG SIM. I thought they finally pulled the rug on it !
Same as me. I now have "Invalid SIM" showing. Oh well, it was good while it lasted.
I had that once, manually selecting the network fixed it.

I wonder if they will pulling the £5 tariff too. Ive got two of these sims. How did you find out they are dropping the £15 deal?

Mines been fine but ive noticed more and more that people who ring me its going straight through to voicemail. They tell me they cant get hold of me. My phone never rings even if i have bars showing on the phone. It will ping to say i have voicemail though.

On one of the extremely rare occasions I got through to the Helpline on 669, the agent told me that RWG were going to pull the Free £15 SIM in November 2027. As part of the answer to my problem, the agent suggested I check the APN setup. This is rubbish, as the APN only controls mobile data, not voice calls.
In answer to your second paragraph, this is happening to me all the time. In addition to my original post, I'm now not getting OTP's from the bank. RWG seem to be degrading the service by the day.
If you call 669 aren't you talking to nowmobile? But it may be that there is an agreement to supply the free minutes/texts/data each month for six years after the offer was pulled to new customers, might be trading standards related?
I know it's a bit different if the company went belly up but having topped up my £15 on a promise of free data every month I'd want my money back if they then decided to change their mind....

Re: the APN. A correct APN is needed for IMS without which VoLTE (or VoNR) and VoWifi won’t work.

So generally speaking, a correct APN IS needed for calls nowadays following the switch off of 3G.

The 'Free £15 ukrwg1' SIM has never supported VoLTE or Calls over Wi-Fi.

In which case it won't work as 3G has been switched off and consumers are migrated away from 2G. Which might explain why it's ending.

RWG haven't yet cancelled all the original 50/250 SIMs. My partner has one of these which is still working normally, but mine is showing "Emergency calls only".

I would also like to know where the info came from about the £15 SIMS being cancelled in November 2027. I have one of these also to which I have added some credit, intending to eventually use it as my main SIM when my current EE contract ends.
Have you tried swapping the sims to see if it works in the other phone?
