Have you had your Notice of Allocation yet?  At this point you will be told your date of hearing and by when you must submit a WS.

No, not had Notice of Allocation yet. If I get a date of hearing does that means it will definitely go to court?

There is no preparation required,  a simple No, or No compromise,  or offering a tenner,  is all that is required at this stage,  its a compulsory stage,  but doesn't need preparation,  it's over in 5 minutes

Just received Notice of Transfer, not much on there though, don't think I need to do anything?

Wait until the nominated civil court write to you with a court order

I've now had a Notice of Allocation to Small Claims Track with a hearing date of 14th August. Is it at this point I put together my witness statement?

Yes, and you submit it 14 days prior.
