Well I definitely went off piste halfway through the month. Completely lost my way and spent a lot via a Tesco online order and getting items in Lidl’s themed weeks. We also bought Mr. Jings' laundry detergent that should last us the rest of the year and other stocking up. £182.08 spent between Feb. 10th and 24th.
Yesterday I did another grocery course stopping at 3 places.
£3.00 at Iceland for bran flakes
£32.11 at Lidl for eggs, various sausages and meats leftover from Alpenfest week; olives, hummus, olive spreads, and cheeses from Greek & 1001 Nights weeks, and a few other bits.
£11.86 in M & S for bananas, loose clementines, baked beans, a couple YS pasta meals, and canned sardines. I had one of the pasta meals for lunch because I got home just before going into 5 hours of straight meetings yesterday. 😩
£446.13 / £330.00 spent. £116.13 over spent.
I think I’m going to declare for February now because the fridge is stocked and we don’t really need anything. Possibly only milk and that will likely be on Sunday and already into March.
Was anybody doing Tesco’s Challenges this month? You could choose 10 different brands or product categories and if you purchase enough from each challenge, you could get up 5,000 points (equal to £50 in vouchers). We did this buying stuff we need or wanted anyway (Fairy detergent and washing liquid) and we’ll get about £15 in vouchers.
All of your talk about the Lidl Plus bonuses also convinced me to download the app finally. I’ve reached the £50 reward level so I have a free vegetable to collect in the next few days, again likely on Sunday.

I need to find my receipt or look at my transactions, but since last time I've had some small spends.
YS rocket and coriander yesterday in the Co@p, and half a cucumber in local bougie greengrocers (app £1.50 total). I was going that way due to collecting bread and some cherry tomatoes from Olio.
Just now, I spent 59p in @ldi on a red pepper and 16p x 3 on three bananas.
So will call it £2.57
I did buy cat food yesterday and today also but that's not included. I miscalculated and I've ran out before my delivery has arrived.

Good evening All
Hope @elsiepac is OK.
I’ve got two shops to declare: £8.76 in Sainsbugs on Sunday (spent on 100g Serrano ham £1.89, YS Pork belly slices £4.30, bananas 78p, Pack of 3 Sweet peppers £1.79), and £26.06 in L!dl today.
I really should not shop when when I’m hungry. The whole point of going to L!dl at lunchtime was to (hopefully) pick up free items won via their Bakery challenge. Well, as well as a free almond croissant and a free packet of wine gums, I somehow managed to buy two packets of smoked sausages (£2.49 each) plus a large tub of olives stuffed with almonds, but totally forgot to get custard (15% off until COB today) and another bag of frozen mixed berries. And yes, I did take a shopping list. I just failed to read it properly.
To top it all off, we got two £2 coins in our change. (We have a house rule: never spend a £2 coin. They go to the Running Away Fund instead.)
< Humph! >Anyway, the above brings our total February shop to £149.90/£165.30, leaving £15.40 to roll into March.
- Pip (not sure if I’m declaring for February)"Be the type of woman that when you get out of bed in the morning, the devil says 'Oh crap. She's up.'

4 - Thermal Socks from L!dl
4 - 1 pair "combinations" (Merino wool thermal top & leggings)
6 - Ukraine Forever Tartan Ruana wrap

Evening all,
Just a small spend to declare £4.13 at Asda today for bread, onions, mushrooms, and two packs of tortilla crisps for tomorrow's chilli.
I'm declaring Feb with a total of £355.67. Considering l must have spent £30-40 on non food, dishwasher tabs, toiletries etc, I'm delighted with the total.
The new smaller meat portions are going well, with no complaints and for the 3rd month running minimal food waste. I've done a freezer inventory and a food plan so I'm ready for March 💪

well I'm just about to tip over my budget as I spent £10 at community food last night. But some really good buys and that should hopefully tide me over for several days. All the veg there is free so I got a big bundle and its now a veg stew in the slow cooker. The free spinach I used with eggs and (free) tomatoes to make an omlette this morning.
