@Soontobeoap, you might have overspent, but I'm quite sure your grandchildren had a great time with you 😊. It's worth every penny, I'm sure.

Morning all, had main shop delivered last night, shouldn’t need anything else for the week but just need to stay away from the shops. I had £10 off £10 on my Lidl app the other day, so used that for milk, fish and some drinks and snacks for the kids day out. Also had £5 off Tesco shop as an apology for being sent out of date items the last time I shopped with them, so used that on my delivery so that came to £66.27 and again there was hardly any shopping there for the money.2£258.37 spent so far.6

Another £20.14 spent on bread, milk and fruit. I can't see me spending anything else before the end of the month.GC Feb 25 - £225.54/£250 Mar £218.63/£2406

Hopefully the last spend of the month which included dog food. Will be visiting the supermarket at the end of the week for steaks and wine for DH's birthday, but that doesn't come out of the grocery budget

I live in a village with no functioning Olio, but I keep an eye out for any offers that are along my route to work, that way I do manage to get a thing or two. Last lot was some pyjamas for my grandson! Not just food on there
NSD yesterday but I feel a trip to the shop today is needed. I have run out of cold medication and am trying hard to keep this lurgy from going to my lungs.

This is technically the start of my new month today. However as I overspent for February I am going to try a no-spend week for meals this week and use up things we have in the freezer/pantry/fridge first
Last night was Fajitas. Tonight and tomorrow is HM Spaghetti Bolognese. Thursdsy will be burgers with HM chips & beans. All from stores. Need to have a think about Friday though.
