I remember hearing that before @weenancyinAmerica I'll have to get some.

more unplanned money spent today, but it was for legal advice that has made a massive difference to my stress levels so totally worth it. With what I spent on things for the garden too (all related) I will have to postpone a couple of things I had planned to pay for this month. Nothing vital so it can wait.

Ongoing problems at home, police have had to be notified.
I have a very .... emotional job, so it's really important that I feel safe and calm at home. This week I definitely have not.
I've had to buy a new phone but my mum has given me some birthday money towards it.
I'm not very focused on debt repayments right now, I don't have the capacity, but most things are automated so as long as I don't get too spendy I should be ok.
Eating well, exercising, decluttering, and house chores have also largely gone out the window. I did still manage to walk parkrun this morning though (I'd volunteered so couldn't really get out of it).
The ducklings had access to the garden and pool for the first time today, so that brought me some joy.

I really hope you’re okay. Sounds like it’s been a tough week x

So sorry you have had a tough time. Sending hugs, please be gentle with yourself and don't worry about things going by the wayside, sometimes you just have to in order to get through a difficult time.

I hope the situation gets resolved soon and you can go back to feeling safe and calm in your home. Take care of yourself x
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪3 -

Well that sounds dreadful, sending a big hug and a big glass of wine

Thanks everyone. It's sucks, but something similar happened 5 years ago and I got through that. Hopefully it will die down in the next few weeks.
No gardening was done today despite a few dry hours, but I did some planting up in the conservatory.
I did however spend (yet again) money on stuff for the garden this morning. My brain is fixated on a garden I can't safely use. This time on hardy grass and clover seeds for the non-existent lawn (chickens ate it). If I ever start having people around again it will be pretty, and if I sell the house it might make the wild garden more appealing to those that don't have chickens ducks and a tortoise.
I've bought myself posh crisps and prosecco this evening.

I think the posh crisps and Prosecco are well deserved 🥂 Fingers crossed things will die down again 🤞
