@Wednesday2000 - I've had 3 black cats, all rescue cats. Each one was very different but all have been or still are fabulous.
@Working_Mum - glad you are joining in. I like the sound of all the comfort foods we are choosing. Yum yum to bubble and squeak and sausages. Hope the dog is calm this evening.
@Cairnpapple - apple streusel tea sounds gorgeous. I've never had a Betty's fat rascal - but I've just looked them up and I'd like one right now!
@redofromstart - a wood burner, a jigsaw and a baby black cat sounds like bliss.
PIP - great idea for a new bracelet. I chose a brooch that my mum brought back from Australia years ago. It's a tree design made from native species barks. Probably be prohibited now but they were different times.Heating is on and curtains are pulled. I'm wearing super soft cosy pink socks and the jumper I made last year. I've only worn it once because I feel a bit self conscious about it. It's a very nice jumper in pretty colours, nice and slouchy so I can't explain why I never chose it. Anyway it co-ordinates well with the socks. Now it's time for the cosy joy of choosing a new candle from my stash.5 -
The jumper sounds fab @Blackcats, I'm very impressed you made it. Brooch sounds lovely too, you're probably right it wouldn't be allowed now! I inherited a necklace pendant of a skull design carved into ivory from my dad, I wouldn't even dare put it on ebbay!
Enjoy your candle, is there one in the stash that is Eau de Lethal Weapon?
Thank you again for setting this up, I have been in a right grump all day and it's really nice to have a Designated Nice Thing to look forward to and make me give my head a wobble4 -

Aw, another cute cat.
I just had a warm bubble bath and we are about to watch the final two episodes of The Morning Show. I have snacks as I have Hula Hoops and Galaxy and my wine and also my blanket to get cosy. It does feel very cosy upstairs now we have our projector, like having our own cinema room.5 -

That must be one cooked tortoise! 😂❤️
Had a nice afternoon wandering around second hand book shops and getting home before dark. Found a brilliant book on vernacular architecture for my mum, a gardening and an Irish crochet (actually looks like lace 😳👏🤩) books for me 😊📖I am currently trying to not eat a WHOLE packet of Belgian milk chocolate Brazils … 😉😊
Nice warm shower in a bit, followed by curling up in front of the wood burner and Monty’s next episode 😊🤩❤️

Aw what gorgeous creatures @beanielou and @CapricornLass ❤️
Hula hoops, galaxy, wine, and blanket is living the dream @Wednesday2000 let alone the projector!
Ooh second hand bookshops @KajiKita, when I'm rich I will happily lose days in them. Showing my ignorance but what is vernacular architecture? Houses where the stairs are actually made out of apples and pears?!

@CapricornLass what a fabulous looking leopard tort!
Sorry to jump in but what a lovely idea for a thread.
My cosy friday night has been with the youngest child baking a cake and prepping for home made icecream to be made tomorrow. There's a record playing (and darts on in the background - his choice), he has hot chocolate, I have beer ..... fingers crossed it all turns out edible 🤣Nov/Dec 24 £39 564

What a lovely virtual group of cosy friends - so nice to all share our ideas and our cosy days.
@beanielou - gorgeous cat! Cats are such role models for cosy days.
@CapricornLass - gorgeous tortoise. Another inspirational member of the group.
I hope everyone enjoys their food, drink, films, music (darts) and that our first cosy Friday had brightened a January day.
