Oh, and they bought me wine too! Almost forgot. 🤣

Apparently buying that was a whole drama in itself as there was a massive debate over which one I like. I can just imagine the pair of them stood in the wine isle in Tesco, looking at the mass of wine bottles trying to remember what the bottle looked like. If that was me trying to do that at their age, my mum would have been lucky if I got the colour right, let alone the exact bottle! But they did. Well, they got me my second most commonly bought wine, but my god I think that was impressive given how often I buy wine.

Tbh, I still haven’t quite got around the fact that I have a daughter old enough to buy wine on their own! 😱

A very well done to the DDs.  & A Happy Birthday if I forgot earlier.  There seem to be a lot this month, mine isn't until the Ides, anniversary of Caesars assassination.  I wonder if that is why I found learning the friends romans countrymen speech so much easier to learn than any other.
I had to google ‘Ides’ as I had not come across that before. Learn something new every day! Not long to go now. Hope you have a lovely day when you get there! 😁

Thanks everyone. I really did have a lovely birthday. I am very blessed to have two wonderful daughters. 😁

Today has been a day of shifting the house around a bit to move big dog’s crate back to where it was before I had the wifi swopped over. I have been meaning to do it for a while but with little dog showing signs that she might come into season soon I need to get them used to spending some time apart again. No further signs today - she’s stopped trying to escape for one - but I am sure big dog will let me know when it finally kicks in properly! 🤣

Regrettably, I have still not tackled the spreadsheet today. This is really naughty as it means's I am now freewheeling my finances through the month! Bad, bad, bad! And I also know that for every day that goes by it makes it an even bigger job to unpick. I am promising myself I will do it tomorrow!

I did however go through my items on Vinted and lower all the prices to literally a pound or two in a bid to just get things moving. Still no sales but I did get a message to say one of my items is no longer hidden! Er, why was it hidden in the first place? I have to say, I am really not liking this whole Vinted experience so far and I am very tempted to just revert to ebay, although tbf I’ve still got no sales on there either since they added the extra fees so I give up! I mean, I don’t actually give up but this is way harder than when I used to sell on ebay. I used to have to make daily trips to the post office, now I’m barely selling anything. 🤷‍♀️

Oh, and the best thing I did today was get back out in the garden and start digging over the to-be grass area. I thought it was just needing a turn over and levelling before seeding but I found some of it still had gravel and old weed suppressing membrane down so more gravel shovelling required first. If I wasn’t so happy to just be out gardening I might have felt a bit disheartened at this point as all I seem to have done with this garden since I moved in is shovel tonnes of gravel by hand but it is finally beginning to take shape so I just cracked on with shovelling until dd1 turned up and started chatting to me.
