Well done on listing things, if you can manage one every day or so, I found that tends to attract the punters. Mind you I've not listed anything for a few days and there's soooo much to go!

It's nice that you can let the dogs run in the garden, I'm sure they like to be allowed out to play and it's a treat for them. It's certainly not worth having a setback because you went out too soon. Here's hoping is begins to ease soon.

    How are your girls doing?

Very well done on the sales! It was someone here who mentioned frequent listing to me and I think it really helps. I also put a line at the end of each description about 'Please see my other items for sale'.

So I’ve been very brave and ventured outside today to post the two items I sold on Vinted. Whilst I was out I got a few things from Tesco to keep us going for the week and put £40 of diesel in the van (which has been running on fumes). Rather annoyingly I decided to put my spending on my MBNA card (after checking I had space) in an attempt to keep as much cash in my bank as I have no confidence in being paid correctly given everything that has been going on. I checked immediately before spending anything and I had £80+ available. I spent less than £10 in Tesco, just over £40 on diesel and then Morrisons snook an £8 charge in there at the same time. Now, I know I am cutting it very fine to my limit but I was not expecting to then receive an e-mail telling me I had exceeded my limit! 😱 I don’t believe £10 +£41+ £8 is more than £80 so how on earth do they think I have gone over my limit? When I look on the app it shows the transactions as pending and says available amount after pending is £34.13, so why the e-mail? I am very confused. I have literally never gone over a limit before so I will be gutted if this goes on my credit record. The e-mail says to pay something to bring me back under my limit but I am confused if I need to do that as I don’t think I am even over the limit? 🤔

Did you use a pay at pump petrol station by any chance?

My local puts a holding charge of £120 if I ever use the pay at pump, it does disappear eventually though and the correct amount is taken?

Never use pay at pump. Some have been known to keep that money on hold for a week

What a nuisance about the CC payment, I hope it clears soon and they can see you aren't over your limit.

Well done on another interview being offered! Are you able to think of each of these hurdles as a step closer to getting the van done and a holiday with the girls? After all, each interview is good practice and any more income could be spent on trips away (even if no 'fancy extras' due to debt repayments, if all it does is pay for sandwiches while you're out somewhere, that's still a trip out and time with your daughters).

I hope exams are going okay for the DDs? And what a relief for DD2 to know her lumps are nothing to worry about. 😊And for DD1 having a wobble about setting up on her own - that's absolutely understandable but perhaps you could all think about it as having a second family base? Ours have all left and set up independently now so we have four family bases, not just one!

Interview done. Time to collapse in a heap and chill out! 😰 It wasn’t a complete disaster but equally it wasn’t my finest hour. 😬 As usual I was completely fine with the asking me questions but as soon as he sent me a scenario to read and asked me to write answers down whilst they watched me type I went to pieces. Literally couldn’t think or type anything even close to coherent. If he had asked me to verbally explain what I wanted to write I would have been fine, but literally having someone watch you type, I just couldn’t. 🤦‍♀️ So, we will see. Thankfully I think the rest of my answers were far better so you never know. I should hear back towards the end of next week and then there is a final interview which thankfully is all just talking. And if I don’t get it then, meh, it wasn’t meant to be and there will be something else. 😊
