Yes, we also have the notification in the Nationwide App. It’s paid between 9th and 30th April.
Mustn’t grumble at receiving £300 between the two of us, if the Fairer Shares is also announced. However it does make decisions about savings accounts more difficult. I have a spreadsheet and can sort existing accounts by interest rate but now we also need to factor in potential loyalty bonuses and account offers.Fashion on the Ration

Happy to have the money but I can't help but think that a business that keeps handing free money to its customers should have something better they could do with that money to grow the business further.1

The good news it will be paid in the new financial year as I have exceeded my personal savings allowance for the current financial year.1

It's no different to a company handing money to its shareholders. That's effectively what members of a building society are. Would you rather they pay the money to its directors instead?boingy said:Happy to have the money but I can't help but think that a business that keeps handing free money to its customers should have something better they could do with that money to grow the business further.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?11 -
On the whole, I’d rather have improved interest rates. However this is possibly a tactic to stop people churning their current account(s) which must cost banks and building societies something.

Indeed, clearly stated in the email I received a short while ago. It has a whole "Is this the Fairer Share payment?" sections with first word of the text being "No. . ."jankers30 said:

My OH and I have a joint Flex account which has a qualifying direct debit going out from it for an insurance product in his name. His login is showing the message about the £50 bonus, mine is not. I wonder if this is a 'per account' scenario rather than a per member, or if he's getting it because the DD relates to him?Make £2025 in 2025
