Been reading this thread with interest - my son has a FlexAccount and I have just switched to a FlexDirect account. We have a joint 1 year Triple Access Online Saver account with £1500 currently in it.
Would we both qualify if we each meet the requirements of the current account (paying £500 into each current account in 2 of Jan/Feb/Mar plus 2 payments out or just 10 payments out) - again depending on criteria? Just wanted to see if we both would qualify with the joint savings account or if we need a savings account each?0 -

Folks
Wonder if I can be that annoying newbie, but I find the rules confusing, Ill caveat this and say assuming its based on a 2024 set of rules. but since I missed out last year am keen not to miss out this year.
I have a
Flexplus Account that I pay for £18 a month I think and I pay into that £400 a month to cover direct debits which total the same £400
Flex Account that I use for day to day spending , I've transferred in January £1500 in total over 31 transactions from and external bank account. I also have around 40 debit card transactions on the account.
Ive opened a Flex Regular Saver 4 and as I understand last years rules if I stick £100 (better if it was £200) in there for at least one day in March.
Am I right in thinking that would qualify me (potentially) for the payout?
Many thanks in advance.

They have a good regular saver, £200 a month 6.5%, I'd suggest paying into that and leaving it for more than just a day, no guarantee they keep it exactly the same and 1 day only is a gamble
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Presuming the rules are static (and we have no confirmation or even a hint at that yet), then just a paid FlexPlus and £100 in any savings account (for 24 hours) in March will qualify.0 -
Folks
Thanks for the kind replies above, that's really helpful👍

Morning, it looks like we'll only be getting £50 this year! This morning I've got a pop up on the app saying I qualify for the £50 "big thank you" payment etc...3

I’ve just seen the same message. Seems to suggest this is in addition to the Fairer Share though.2
