I was wondering if l should carry on with the conditions that could make me eligible for the faired share payment into April and May?
    Anybody else doing it.
It's cash that will be spent  or moved around anyway.
I automated the payments last year to bounce money around via standing order, so I'm hopefully meeting the requirements (and then some) every month :D

Having missed out for the past 2 years, I decided to make some extra effort this year along with my various Nationwide savings accounts & direct debits I've been paying a lump some in every month and spending on my flex account visa debit card. Hopefully that should secure me a payout which I'll donate to charity.

I move in £1000 anyway every month for the interest on Flex Direct and do 3 debit card spends a month - 2 bananas and a carrot yesterday as there were no custard cremes for the office at Sainsbury's (35p a packet)

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Eh Aldi ones are better but they're not as convenient for a nip in and mess around at the self scan to create transactions

You do all that for £1.25 per month?

£8.33 a month is what the fair share works out as not £1.25 (it's £100 / 12, not sure how you got £1.25 out of that?) and as an unexpected bonus, £50 thank you

I also store as much as I can up to the £1500 5% interest as well which is also nice

    Whatever floats your boat  ;)

I used up the promo rate eons ago; the standard interest is 1% on up to £1500 - which works out circa £1.25 per month. The other elements aren't really FlexDirect specific.

I've got my Fairer Share money this morning. A bit of an uplift on last year.  :)
