Study other recent WS , plus the latest wins listed in the discontinuations thread by Umkomaas,  plus other recent concluded cases, try using the search option with suitable keywords etc

There is a lot more to a WS than a short story anecdote, including adding suitable Exhibits and your Costs Assessment etc

I know I'm being an absolute moron here, but I've searched and still can't find any WS examples/guidance other than people saying to search using keywords (which I've tried), filtering to "newest" etc.

The guidance is in the NEWBIES thread along with a list of recommended exhibits.

You should find examples if you search for

Witness Statement true

and change the results order to NEWEST.

Morning all. Well, I'm pleased to say I didn't need to submit a WS as DCB Legal/Euro Car Parks have discontinued this morning. I will post N279 when I get it printed :-)

Thanks to all of your advice and practical help. It has been invaluable. 3 and a half years of this rubbish but I've WON!!

We will discuss this more over the coming weeks but IMHO the two vital policy matters are:

- to BAN debt recovery fees completely, making the industry pay for the dubious they 'service' of third party letters (or keep cases in house and follow the pre-action phase themselves, like several PPCs already do)

- to bring in a new and independent Single Appeals Service (funded by the industry) to replace POPLA and especially the IAS which MUST be banned.
