You are doing so well! The difference that you've paid off between January and now is great, you should give yourself a pat on the back. Now onto August!

Hi, you need to get those brake lights fixed, don't wait for the MOT, you are asking for trouble. It is not safe, for you or other drivers. Hopefully, it's a simple fix. V x

By tomorrow (your day before payday)youre going to be less than £40 from that figure beginning £2xxx.

I thought of one of your quotes recently. Ive said before I like the tree ones. You did one about a tree not flowering for years then it eventually did. In the past week Ive seen 2 trees full of plums, both on my street. Ive either never noticed them before or theyve never produced fruit before. Today I think Ive spotted a 3rd in the grounds where my kids went to school. Unfortunately theyre too sweet for me - I tried one.
With it being the end of my month my lump sum payment has now taken me down to the figure starting with a 2 whoooooooooop

Awww i'm glad you thought of one of my quotes, it must have stuck in your mind. You will probably notice more and more trees now you have thought about it.

I will probably have made some errors in my posts again, so im relying on you to point them out to me, i know how much you have an eagle eye for detail, and i dont like getting things wrong, so please keep telling me when you spot something  :)
Yay. Yes update your signature- lol.

I agree with the others, sort the brake lights out, potentially dangerous not to. This is what your emergency fund is for.

Well done on your debt-busting progress!!

If your brake lights aren't working, it means in the eyes of the law that your car is not roadworthy - it's not safe for you or for others.

I was once stopped by the police, in a car less than 2 years old, because one rear light wasn't working. The policeman offered to change the bulb for me at the roadside when I said I had a spare.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Well today i got the guy at the garage to have a look at my indicator bulbs etc while i was at work. He managed to sort it out, something to do with the electrics, i didnt really ask too much as i was just glad it was sorted. He only charged me £20 as us lot at my work all use him often. Glad it was all fixed and sorted quickly. Thanks for all the comments/help.

So i have taken the £20.00 out of my savings/emergency fund which now has a balance of £578.02

Well done on exceeding your repayment target for July.
I presume you have now hit the 7 month target of being alcohol free.
It's good that you have been able to sort out your indicators / brake lights - hopefully there won't be any more problems and your car will pass the MOT

    Thank you.

Yes i have made it to 7 months now without a drop of alcohol. Although i was VERY tempted last week when i was on annual leave from work, but i refrained from buying any and spoiling my run. I will celebrate after 1 year and  hopefully i will be debt free.

Yeah im glad its sorted now, and im hoping that nothing else will be wrong with it for its MOT, but you never know with cars.
