dawnybabes said:I make the weeks sandwiches in one go and freeze them in individual packs, just grab out out of the freezer and it’s defrosted by lunch and the bread is still lovely and fresh (except I’m gluten free and it’s horrible even when fresh - but don’t let that stop you !) and saves time in a morningDebts on Jan 6th 2025

Oh yes, now less than £100 to go before that figure starts with a 2.
Re - frozen sandwiches, Id trial it by perhaps making 2 different ones, say one ham, one cheese. That way youll know if you like them, only like 1, or dislike them. I like and cant tell frozen items defrosted then eaten (reheated or not) with the exception of pork products, which then taste odd and off putting to me. Im sure it has to be a taste bud/sensory issue. Its frustrating cos I have to make sure everything in this category is used up fresh cos otherwise it has to be binned. No being able to freeze half the pack of sausages for me unfortunately.
Any plans for your week off? If not enjoy your garden (if you have one) hopefully the sun and time with the dog.2 -
