You are doing really well and being able to move jobs even with a slight cut in salary just reinforces the good things that can happen when debt is gone and instead of paying a third of you salary (ie working more than a week of the month, every month) to give straight to other people, soon you'll be able to give that to yourself every month.

    Well done

    Dxx
Thank you. Yes, i can't wait for the freedom that being debt free gives you, aswell as the relief of not having any debts. The next thing after paying my debts will be the other handcuff to work which is paying my mortgage off. That is a much longer term project and will have to have other shorter term goals within it such as saving for a holiday, home improvements, newer car etc.... but thats another chapter.

A positive end to June with paying off 50% of your debt, a new job, meals in the freezer, treats and I think you must also be celebrating six months of being alcohol free.
That's a lovely picture of your dog and the frog.
Thank you, yes lots of positives this month. I didnt post about being 6 months alcohol free yesterday as i still had another day to go before i made it to the 6 months. But i can confirm that today is my 6 months anniversary of being alcohol free  o:) I have been tempted over the last 6 months, especially in the nice weather to have a couple of beers in the evening but i didnt want to destroy all my hard work upto that time and break my streak of no alcohol until im debt free. Im determined to stick at it until every last penny is paid off, so hopefully xmas day, or maybe i will wait until new years day just to make it a full 12 months, i can have a nice cold beer to celebrate.

Ha yeah the dog was chasing it all around the garden, the poor frog was jumping all over the place. until i got to her and told her NO! and took the photo  :D
