You are creeping along nicely to the 50% mark.
Im always so envious when you write no money spent today, cos I start the day with good intentions by the time I read your update theyve usually gone awry!1 -

I'd say the difference probably is that you "have a life" ..... i don'tI just go to work and home and that is literally it. I'm envious of people who have a life, but after this year of hard work making sacrifices paying my debts off, im hoping to be able to get a bit more from life. As long as you are making progress and you are happy, that is all that matters

Well i have gone and spent some of my savings and treated myself and my daughter with tickets to watch Jimmy Carr in September. I have been looking to buy tickets to see him for the last couple of years but every time it has always been a sell out in my local area. But this time i must have caught it not long after being announced as i have managed to get tickets right at the front. I thought as i don't do much with my life and its one of the things ive been wanting to do for the last few years then i would treat us, as a reward to myself, for paying off a lot of my debt (im hoping between 70-80% by then) and to my daughter who has to go into surgery in the next few weeks and hopefully will be fully recovered in time to come with me and enjoy the evening. We are both into comedy and love to make each other laugh all the time, we both will have a great night.
The tickets are not cheap but it's the only thing i will do this year apart from pay off my debts. So it's a little treat out of my savings/emergency fund while i can afford it, and it gives me something to look forward to and motivation to keep going.

The tickets are a well derserved treat for all your hard work and it will be lovely to spend time with your daughter doing something you both enjoy. I hope your daughter's surgery goes well and that she recovers quickly. The debt total is reducing nicely and it won't be long before it drops into the next the next thousand.1
