I usually do my weekly food shopping on a Tuesday, but i did it on a Wednesday last week and i thought as it has just been a bank holiday and it is the first "normal" working day after a BH, then the supermarket may be busier than normal, so i have decided to go do my food shop tomorrow instead.

I had to take my car into the garage today as it has been making a weird blowing/rubbing noise for a while now and it has gradually been getting worse and also heard a knocking noise recently. so i thought it is best to get it fixed now before something serious happens and something falls off or stops working while im driving it and then im stuck in rut with a broken car in the road and will cost me a fortune to sort out.

So, luckily it wasnt as bad as i had feared and was just the engine mounting that had gone and luckily i work in the car parts industry so i was able to get the part i needed for around cost price and the garage i use does the work at a very good price for us. So all in all the part cost around £27, although ive not paid for it yet, i can pay at the end of the month (i will confirm the actual cost when i pay it), and the fitting of the part cost £20 (which i have paid) so a total of around £47 will be coming out of my emergency bank account to cover this cost. But now my car sounds sooo perfectly silent and how it should be, which im well happy about. I dont have to worry each time i make a journey anymore  :)  B)
