That's a good end of the month update and you’ve made great progress by reducing your debt by over £2,000 since January.
You have been very disciplined with your spending but perhaps you need a small treat to look forward to when hit a mile stone. This is just a thought as I do realise being debt free is the goal and while it is coming closer, it is still a few months away and I would hate you to lose focus after doing so well.
I feel confident that you will hit your goal of being below £4,000 at the end of May.
I dont really have much treats tbh, Although i did treat myself today at shopping and bought some doughnuts as a small little treat and still managed to come in under budgetI wouldnt know what id want as a treat, i dont have anything to look forward to really except to finally being debt free, but even that is exciting and scary at the same time. i do get a little down now and again but ive always been like that lol. Maybe in a couple of years i can save up and have a nice holiday, that would be nice. but for now i will keep my focus on getting out of this debt and lift some of the weight off my shoulders.
Thanks soo much for having faith in me and keeping me encouraged to keep going. Its very much appreciatedDebts on Jan 6th 2025

A treat might mean a visit to a coffee shop, a day trip, an outing, doing something with your daughter.
Its advisable to consider it because many people (myself included)get eventually 'bogged down' by constantly being focused on the debt repayments part way through the journey. The initial momentum has gone but theres still a distance to the finishing line. Giving yourself a 'reward' if you like at this stage can help with the 'this is never ending' feelings.2 -

I know what u mean tho, i dont really want much in life anyway and think most things are a waste of money, you value money more when you dont have any to spend i guess. Id like to pay the debts of as quickly as possible then i can have a bit of money spare to do other things with. im hoping 10 more months and it will all be gone.Debts on Jan 6th 2025
