Congratulations! That was very good planning 👍
Thank you. I was pretty pleased it worked and logically i couldnt see why it wouldnt. If they let you make "partial" payments with no extra interest payments to make on them, but they charge you a ton of interest on the outstanding balance if you want to pay it all off via a settlement quote. Then what is stopping people from paying it virtually all off, and then getting a settlement quote on the outstanding tiny balance remaining? ....... Nothing. So, thats exactly what i did and it has paid off.

Although, i have not had a confirmation email from Hastings yet to confirm that the loan has been settled. But i will let you all know when i do, in case anyone else is in the same situation.

    Thanks for your support  :)

So every week i will show the average amounts i need to pay back daily, weekly and monthly until the 0% promotional period on the credit card finishes at the start of April 2026.

The figures will go up slightly until the end of each month when i make my lump sum payment, which hopefully will bring the total paid over the month above the average figure needed each month and will hopefully bring the monthly figure down over time.

Well done on transfering the Hastings Loan and getting all your debts onto a 0% credit card. It will be much easier to track now you have all your debt in one place. Your plan to pay off the credit card looks good.
