Hope everything went well this morning @bubbs and you get results quickly.
That’s not a lot for being on holiday @joedenise you’ll have it off in no time.
You’ll all be glad to hear I’m in a better mood 😜🤣🤣 did the food shop earlier and treated myself to a bacon roll and coffee after it. Gammon steak, new potatoes and salad for dinner. Planning to use some of the potatoes for potato salad to go with burgers tomorrow. Not had that for ages and really craving it now!0 -
Hi I'm back again! Been shopping - it was a bigger shop than usual as everything was run down prior to our holiday as far as possible! We have at least got some SW friendly food now!
Hope everything went OK for your DH @bubbs and that he (and you) don't have to wait too long for the results.
I wouldn't be so sure @jellybaby - with the way I lose that is at least 4-5 weeks losses and I'm off on holiday again for 2 weeks in 3 weeks time! No doubt even more will go on.
I've menu planned for most of the time up until we go away but still need to finish off the plan. The weekend's meals are at least sorted now!
Today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich, pickled onions - HEA2; HEB; S
L - mushroom omelette - P; S
D - goat curry, rice, mango chutney - P; S; F; 3
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - mango chutney 3
Hope everyone has got some decent weather to enjoy! Just come back in from the garden having sat out there with a cup of coffee - would have preferred a glass of wine but not a good idea with going out shortly!

Afternoon all.
Thanks everyone for your comments, Home and he is ok just very sore, caused panic as thought he was going to pass out and his BP rocketed, he said the worst experience of his life 😪and considering he has a hand injury andfinger missing from getting crushed by a 75 tonne machine, that puts it in perspective how horrible it was 😪now we start again 7-10 days for results. Now no lifting or carrying for 2 weeks.
Denise glad you had a nice holiday and hope DH gets on with his MRI ok.
Coxy, hope the walk goes ok and the rain does one!!
Tomorrow i am just going to pop to weigh and then coming home.
I really want to eat a load of crap but that is not going to resolve anything!

Morning all
Been and just weighed, I wanted to eat everything in sight this week but controlled myself as that won't change anything and the result 2.5 off😁
Then to top it off I called in lidl on the way back and got a box £1.50, just missed another which I would have bought too ad it had 3 watermelon in😱

Fab loss @bubbs! What a great box, those strawberries look beautiful, along with the rest of the fruit!A half pound gain for me and I’m gutted but will plod on. Was tempted to pig out when I came home but so far so good. Had toast and jam for breakfast and I’ve taken lentil soup out of the freezer for lunch later. Dinner is homemade burgers in large mushroom ‘bun’ with salad and loads of pickles. Some syns for burger sauce and mustard.
The plan is to clean the wimdows at the front of the house but I have a new book calling me, decisions, decisions 😉😉0 -
Congratulations on your 2.5lbs loss @bubbs! That's a brilliant result, so pleased for you.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
How's your DH feeling today?🤔
A gain @Jellybaby?? Really?🤔 That's a bu**er (insert missing consonants as required). I'm convinced that sticking to plan will always show results in the end, just not straight away sometimes. Do keep plodding and it will come right in the end.
Glad you enjoyed your holiday @joedenise and hope Joe's scan went well last night. I think your gain was OK for a week of eating out. More plodding for you too!🤣
I stayed on plan yesterday and will do today. Tomorrow, we're going to the cinema around 5pm and DH suggested having a late lunch/early dinner in the city centre before we go. There's a pub that does lovely roast dinners so that's what we'll do. It'll mean roast potatoes, Yorkshires and gravy won't be as SW friendly as I could make them at home but it's only one meal and I'll enjoy it. No leftovers for Monday though!🤔🤣
I'm going to do braised red cabbage in the SC this afternoon as I've run out of that and the swede and carrot mash that I made at Christmas. I'm told that veg wars is starting again soon.
‘WE WON’T BE BEATEN ON PRICE’ LIDL LAUNCHES EASTER VEG PLEDGE AS IT SLASHES EASTER PRICES TO JUST 15P AHEAD OF EASTER - Lidl Great Britain
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, eggs (P), baked beans (F)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese, ham (P) salad and pickles (S)
D- sausage casserole with pasta (P,S,F)
Syns- BGTY sausages 2, weekend wine😋0 -
Afternoon all, another beautiful day although quite windy so good for getting the washing dry again. Did 2 loads yesterday and line dried, folded and put away and the same again today. Have washed the doormats and they're out on the line drying now - should be dry soon with all the wind.
Well done on your 2.5lb loss @bubbs, was deserved after last week's gain which shouldn't have happened. That looks a great fruit and veg box - I very rarely seem to be in Lidl when they have any and if they do they seem to have a lot of dodgy looking fruit and veg in them! Sorry about the small gain @Jellybaby, you'll soon shift that.
I had extra syns yesterday as DH decided to open a bottle of wine - there won't be any more for a while as that was the last bottle in the rack! I'm on the 0% G&T today so will be pulling back some syns today.
Today's plan:
B - bacon & mushroom sandwich - HEB; P; S; 2
L - ham salad - P; S; 3.5
D - spaghetti bolognaise - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 (part) - parmesan
HEB - bread
Syns - LF spread 2; 50g avocado 3.5; 0% gin 1
Thanks for the heads up @maman on the Lidl veg - hoping to get over there next week as want to go to the Food Warehouse.0 -
That just happened to be a Lidl link @joedenise. I wouldn't be surprised if other supermarkets soon join in.
Sainsburys had their 25% off wine offer last week so plenty of wine syns here. 😁0
