Afternoon all,
Our gardening is very similar @maman It’s been a beautiful day here so I’ve been potting up a few new shrubs and trees I’ve bought. I do love my pots as they’re so easy to move around if I fancy a change.
Managed to get all the cushion covers and throws line dried too so feel as if I’ve achieved quite a bit. Food has all been on plan and I’m looking forward to chilli salmon, new potatoes and roasted veg for dinner.0 -

Morning everyone, have a great time @Coxy11 and I hope the weather holds for you.
Im still in a bit of a funk mood wise but plodding on. Busy today with banking stuff shuffling accounts and reviewing ISAs.
Slept later which is really unlike me so must have been needing it. About to have a fry up for brunch and dinner is chicken curry with rice.

You're amazing to turn that around from what you had in @bubbs😇. And what a compliment that your DH wanted your Chinese rather than shop bought. 👍
Hopefully you'll get a loss at the weekend @Jellybaby and nothing to sink your mood again. You need another holiday. 😁
Good luck with your walk tomorrow @Coxy11. You're nearly at the finishing post.
We've been out for lunch. I was pleased that they had lemon sole as a special. It came with a potato cake (LO mash? 🤔) and some greens. There was a bit of white sauce with a few prawns but probably quite SW friendly. Others had starters and puddings with custard but not me. 😇 Obviously, I was hungry again tonight so had a tuna JP.
We'll be thinking of you both tomorrow @bubbs. 🤗0 -
Thanks Maman, dreading it 😢 then the wait.
I don't know if i wil be at group Saturday, DH says go, i will wait and see how he is. I have messaged my consultant as i do pay, so she can get it covered, she says stay at home but i don't like missing, i might even go and just get weighed , i am guessing he will still be in bed unless he is in pain anyway as it's early group.
I have never had lemon sole, nor trout for that matterSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
Morning all,
Damp here in Devon and due to rain until lunchtime. Cottage is lovely and thankful that we can leave stuff here without having to carry it all this time around 🙏🏻 Just a small backpack with water bottle, waterproof and snacks. We will walk the Grand Western Canal Towpath this morning to meet DH for late lunch in Tiverton and see if we want to walk further to Bickleigh Mill craft centre and cafe on the Exe Valley Walk afterwards.Pollen really bad here and my throat is complaining ☹️
Sending positivity to @bubbs and OH for this morning xxxxxCross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0 -
Morning all, we're back. Had to come back yesterday as DH has an MRI early this evening and we didn't want to risk not making it in time. We stopped off at DGD's on the way back and she cooked us a very SW friendly chilli and rice - one of the only on plan meals that I haven't cooked myself! Nowhere we ate out had good choices apart from jacket potatoes and just didn't fancy them at the time. I have eaten baked fish when we've eaten out but both time came with both roast and mash potatoes and loads of veg (could have had chips and peas but opted for veg!). Weighed this morning and I've put on 2.6lb so not as bad as it could be considering we ate out every day!
Good luck to your DH @bubbs. Definitely a compliment your DH asking for your Chinese rather than a takeaway - my DH is the same with curries - can never get one he particularly likes if we have a takeaway or eat out.
Hope you don't get too wet @Coxy11 on your walk. Enjoy your walk.
Need to go shopping as not much in as didn't want to buy extra stuff to bring back home so we'll have toasted cheese sandwich and pickles for breakfast and will come back later with full plan once we've shopped.
