Afternoon all, most of the morning wasted sitting around the hospital to get an X-ray.  Didn't happen though as no radiologist turned up so I gave up after nearly 2 hours waiting - not the the local hospital as the X-ray department is currently closed so also just over an hour added for driving there and back!  Will probably try the main hospital on Wednesday morning as DH has an appointment nearby but if it's busy then will have to try the same hospital again on Thursday but think I'll check before we go that they've got a radiologist actually working!

    Rant over, sorry!

Didn't get any breakfast before we left so have ended up with having a piece of French stick with gammon and mustard so that's the day's syns gone without even trying!

Well done @Coxy11 on your loss.  It may be what you put on the previous week but at least it's gone and no more added - look on the bright side.

I'd have some of each meat @maman, after all they're all free foods!

Going to make some faggots this afternoon to have for dinner tonight which we'll have with some mash and veg.  Fortunately this will at least be a very low syn meal - only 1 syn for 4 portions so not worth counting!

Line drawn and back on plan from tomorrow!

Sorry to hear about your h Bubbs…..positive vibes heading your way for good reasults.
Well done with the 2lb Coxy. It doesn’t matter that it went on the previous week….at least it’s off again 👍
I’ve had a busy weekend. I’ve not written a food diary but clocked syns in my head 🥴 I’ve done the best I can in the places I found myself.
I’ve defrosted the freezer this morning. We bought a bigger fridge freezer last year…..the other one was so much easier to defrost 😳

Morning all, a lovely day today so have got the rest of the washing done and out on the line.  Looks as though it's almost dry so will get that in shortly.

Been to have my chin waxed this morning and done a little bit of shopping - run out of eggs yet again - we seem to get through loads!  There wasn't really enough for this morning's breakfast but made do with what we had.  I'm just waiting for my hairdresser to arrive to get my mop cut before our holiday - it really needs it!  Be glad when it's done.

DH has just booked the scooter in for an MOT and sorted out the insurance so looks like we'll be getting a bit of use from it again.  Not used it for about a year due to his various ailments!

    Today's plan:

    B - toast, scrambled eggs, marmalade (on 1/2 slice only) - HEB; P; 1
    L - cheese salad - HEA2; S; F
D - pork steaks, mash, veg (didn't have the steaks the other day so need using!)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - marmalade 1

    Have a good day everyone.

It's good that DH doesn't have to wait long to discuss how the referral will work @bubbs. Hopefully, he won't have to wait 62 days.🤞🏼

It seems amazing that no radiographer turned up @joedenise. Were they unwell?🤔 It happened to DH once when he got an early morning phone call to say the doctor he was meant to be seeing had called in sick, saved people travelling unnecessarily. Hope you get seen tomorrow.

I had a large Aldi bap toasted with breakfast this morning.
Soft White Large Baps 4 Pack | ALDI UK
Mine was wholemeal and I checked on the app before I bought them. They're quite large for a HEB compared with the usual wholemeal rolls or slices of bread, good if you save your HEB for a sandwich.

I think the Sainsbury's deli rolls are my favourite.

but they're almost twice the price and often out of stock.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, ham, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes (S)
    L- chicken salad (P,F,S)
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P,S,F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- LTL mayo 1

The receptionist had no idea why the radiographer hadn't turned up.  She was waiting for a return phone call when we left to find out what was happening but after nearly 2 hours we'd had enough of waiting.  If they were sick they hadn't phoned in to let anyone know!  Really annoying.

    Hi all,

Here's attempt goodness knows what to keep up with this thread.

I forgot who mentioned The Glucose goddess but I've found it fascinating and being trying that the last few days as well as the general principles of SW. So far so good and the scales are seeing a little loss so far.

    Food for today

B: baked oats with blueberries - this was a late breakfast

L: cooked ham, beetroot, tomatoes brown pickle. Raspberries and 1 skinny crunch.

D: 5%fat meatballs, homemade Tom sauce, cauliflower rice.

Main changes I've made are, dressing my carbs, carb reduction and adding sweet treats only after a meal. And I've been more active too.

I also have a holiday booked for 15 weeks time, so would love to get close to 2st weight loss by then.
