Your right @bubbs about the jelly - I was getting myself confused!  Of course it's for one jelly as I split each one into 4 small ones so 2 each for DH and I at 0.5 syn each!!!   Lasagne's look good too @bubbs.

Glad you've got a physio appointment for tomorrow.  Our GPs are exactly the same if it's a joint problem you see a physio first and if necessary they say if they think you should actually see one of the GPs - not happened for either DH nor I though, we've just been given steroid injections although DH has now been referred to orthopaedics as I've mentioned before.

I'm glad you got the phone call and some sort of appointment @bubbs even if it's not what you really wanted. I think you're right to hang on to the GP one on April Fool's day as you may well be referred on.

You and @joedenise seem to have the worst sort of practice☹. I'm lucky that mine is so much better. When I had a bad night with my cough last Thursday, I called at 8.00.am on Friday (3rd in queue) and saw the nurse practitioner at 9.30a.m. I know she would have called in a GP if needed as she's done it before.

Definitely follow the medical advice to rest up @milann!😁 You might want to try a veggie chilli for your vegetarian friend. They're so easy to batch cook and then just serve with a JP or some rice for a quick lunch.

Roll on the new car arriving @Jellybaby.😴 Out of curiosity, I did check the chicken salad sandwich and looks like one would be less than a day's syns so not too disastrous.

I do hope you found a JP @Coxy11. I've had them at English Heritage sites but not sure about NT. I think it may vary with the size of the property/kitchen facilities.🤞🏼

Today's the last portion of savoury mince from the freezer and yesterday used the last of the meatballs. Definitely some batch cooking needed ASAP.

    Today's plan-
B- Fry up (HEB toast, P,F)
L- lentil soup (P,S), small ham salad (P,S)
D- savoury mince (P,S), new potatoes (F), carrots, greens, cauliflower (S)
    Syns- 0

Glad you got to speak to someone @bubbs and that you have a physio appt tomorrow. Fingers crossed it helps. The lasagne looks amazing - what do you use for the sheets is it BNS? Don't think you have pasta do you?

Well I'm pleased to report that the NT place did have JPs so I had tuna/mayo which was yummy. DH only spotted the list as I was about to order 'cheesy wedges' which was similar. We visited Bateman's which was the home to Rudyard Kipling. Lovely gardens and the house wasn't too ostentatious, with loads of interesting memorabilia. Came home to two fire engines, lights and sirens on racing through our village - fire on the top field apparently  :open_mouth:

I have a muzzy headache, so will rest up this afternoon. More training tomorrow from home then in the office on Friday. I will make a plan for lunches for the next two days.

  • Hi all, just popping back on. At group on Tuesday (1/2 lb on) the consultant was saying that where she works they coat JPs in 6syns worth of oil before bunging a tray load in the oven!
    Yikes!

I’ve heard that about jacket potatoes so never eat the skin when I’m out and about…..love your user name 😂😂willmaknickersfit 👍
so I felt I needed to do something productive today….i   set to sorting my drawers and wardrobe in the bedroom. It was pottering, sitting a lot without too much walking about. I’m regretting it now though as the contents of my wardrobe are still all over my bed. It did give me lots of motivation though as I have lots of tops I bought when I first came out of hospital a few years back. I’d lost a lot of weight, gained a stoma and thought I could eat whatever I wanted. I got a shock when I came to put my tops on the following Sumer and nothing fitted me….so t want to get back in my tops for this summer…..some of them still have labels on.
Breakfast - yoghurt, 35g granola and berries.
Dinner hea and b cheese and tomato on toast with a cup of veg soup
tea - leftover new potatoes tossed with cut up sausage, bacon and lots of onion with a dollop of hp sauce in the pan. Approx 6 syns.

    January spends - £587.58

Morning all, glorious sunshine here and lots of birdsong outside. Unfortunately I'm on an on-line training course from 10am-1pm! Will be popping out after lunch to collect something from Arg0s and drop a return to M&S. It's all go.

Hmmm well I will always have a JP if I'm out and about and would like to think it's less than a sandwich and besides, bread really sits heavily on my tummy and I really don't need that tbh!

Food looks lovely as always @bubbs x

    Food today:
B - protein bagel thin, poached egg, spinach, apple - HEB, P, S
L - brown rice, feta, gherkins, pickled onions, pickled red onion, picked red cabbage, soy sauce - free, HEA, S
    D - chicken pesto pasta - 5
    HEA - milk
Syns - 5 plus fibre one bar so 9 total

It's our local pub quiz this evening. We have two boxes of chocs (Lind0r and Th0rntons) to take as we won them in Jan and Feb. I am going to take a fibre one bar with me and will have soda and lime. Can't have a muzzy head tomorrow morning as need to be up and at it for the train eeeek.
