Bloody hell @Coxy11 didn't know that that's really going to hit her hard! I thought you meant somewhere in Faversham. There's nothing on their website to show that.
Morning all, horrible and wet again this morning. Must have been raining a bit overnight although not heavy enough to be able to hear it.
Really annoyed yesterday evening Royal Mail were supposed to be delivering a parcel and they put they had a problem with delivery on the tracking! The only problem they had is they didn't get here because if they did and we hadn't heard them knock or rang the bell (unlikely as I would have heard it as I was in the kitchen at the time they put). I know they didn't get here at all as there was no card so can't contact them so just going to have to wait for them to redeliver and knowing my luck they'll decide to try on Tuesday when we have to go out!!!
Enough of my moaning.
Sorry you need to go out again today with your orders @bubbs. Hopefully you'll be able to get round OK day with them. It's the worst time it could have happened for you.
Today's plan:
B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
L - burger, onions, pickles, WM roll - HEB; S; 0.5
D - roast chicken dinner - P; S; F; 3
HEA - milk
HEB - WM roll
Syns - sausages 2; burger 0.5; stuffing 3
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all,
Yes @joedenise it’s terrible about AY. They have a Christmas Fayre today and then shutting. The staff were told on Friday. I know of many groups that have regular bookings so lord knows where they will go now, let alone those who have booked Christmas meals/parties there. And good morning all those non-Kent residents!!I am food shopping today so just having a coffee to gird my loins. Weather looking pants so ‘delighted’ to be painting two of the four lounge walls again today. They were the darker putty shade and are still slightly patchy. I ironed three of the six curtains yesterday - will do the others later and get them
back up.In food news(!):
B - mini croissant, apple - 7, S
L - toasted bagel with marmite, satsumas - HEB, Free, S
D - roast chicken, roast potatoes, roasted BNS/red onion/carrot - P, free, S
HEA - milk

Morning all 😁
Not raining here thank god but was nippy when we got up, but all toasty now, as it's on , we at the moment don't have the heating come on before we get up as DH is like a radiator since his surgery! God knows how we are going to cope when it's really cold as i will need it and he doesn't but hey will cross that bridge when we come to it 🤣
Yes Denise, i have to do deliveries today otherwise can't go unit tomorrow and need to get rid of as much stock as i can before Xmas (obviously) 4 weeks selling left already put a notice up, but you can guarantee someone will ask for something and i will just say "sorry closed" till the new year 😜
Can't go to after 11 as have a least 1 collection at 11 ish, so the plan is.........have this 2nd cuppa, shower, sort veg out for tea, put some washing in, have something to eat as guess it will be 2-2.30 before i am back, take rubbish on way out and hey bingo good to go!
Coxy, can't complain if i am not busy now i'd be moaning not busy , so can't win 🤣Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
Hope all the orders are sorted and you can put your feet up @bubbs.🤗
Have you got a heated throw? I'm a bit of a night owl so I put mine on if the room cools down after DH goes to bed as there's no point heating the whole house just for me in one room.
Forecast rain hasn't happened for the second day in a row here. Yesterday was 16 degrees.🌞 Today was meant to be constant drizzle. I'm not complaining about dry weather but it's so difficult trying to plan ahead. The plan was to do the washing today and use the half price electricity and then put it out to dry tomorrow. As it wasn't raining and I wasn't going out I've put the bedding on the line so at least the bigger things will be done.
That's infuriating about the parcel delivery @joedenise. I sometimes think if they put the effort into the actual deliveries rather than fancy tracking websites we'd be better off.
I'm enjoying my trips around Kent @Coxy11. Other than visiting Tunbridge Wells I've only passed through the county on the way to Dover or the tunnel so it's all improving my Geography. 😁
Change of plan today as yesterday didn't work out as it should have done. DH and I still have the makings of colds hanging around us which seem to come and go. DH was feeling rough yesterday so he didn't fancy much for dinner. He had a ham roll and I just had a big bowl of fruit with yogurt. So yesterday's dinner shuffled forward to today and the chicken for today is in the freezer.
I portioned up the chilli I made yesterday. 4 meals for two and a portion for my lunch today.👍🏼
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), veggie chilli (P,S), salad (S), cottage cheese (P)
D- chicken jambalaya (P,F,S)
Syns- weekend wine😁0 -
It has been cold, but bright here today a few thick items of clothing have dried to "just damp" and will go on airers, along with a batch of knickers and socks. Have downed tools after a little tidying and patio cleaning outside, our leaf blower/sucker/chopper upper died a while back so a few hours of hard work needed to get up leaves, been ongoing for about 3 weeks and still more to come (blessed Silver Birch are so tiny and hard to get off patios and paths. Apart from getting tea later I am catching up on MSE and knitting.
@bubbs such busy times for you, but I guess busy means income so needs must. Good results for you and your friend. @maman I can't remember for sure how it was when I started back at SW, seem to remember that 'cos I had been in range when I stopped going no joining fee taken, history and target remained same, just paid until back in range. @joedenise annoying about your RM non-delivery, hope they are not scheduling for Tuesday. @Coxy11 will this current batch of decorating be the last until your planned re-vamp? @beanielou how are you, hopefully no ice yet to make things difficult for you.
OH returned from cycling, it is nice that he is well enough ATM and quite enthusiastic about it, the downside is that he will have less time and energy to do stuff needed around the house. He is re-fueling and just offered me tea and cake - resisting cake and will have a SW bar.
The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)1 -

Morning all,
Enjoy your new job @Coxy11
It’s a bitterly cold but beautiful morning here. Snow due the next three days so I’ve moved a few errands around and will leave shortly to get them all done today. You might remember my friend who loves TG2G bags but hates fish - well it’s happened again 🥳 M&S salmon, prawns and smoked makeral are all in my freezer.
Ive had a huge bowl of berries and yoghurt 1.5 syns for breakfast, I’ll have lentil soup with a soft pitta HEB stuffed with ham salad when I get back for lunch and dinner is L/over beef casserole with potatoes and loads of veg.
Have a good day everyone.0
