Yes, let’s not look at the weather. It’s been awful here. Supposed to be dry today and I got two loads done but hissing down now 😡

@maman my friend (I’ll call him DF) supports a Manchester based team but not the big one 😉 I know absolutely nothing about football and try not to yawn when he chatters on! Apologies if I’ve already said all this.

Hoping for a loss tomorrow, put on trousers I’ve not worn for ages and they were quite loose. But it’s SW so who knows.  Food is all on plan, using up odds and ends from the fridge. But, it’s meatballs for dinner 😋😋

We had meatballs tonight @Jellybaby. 😋 We've had spaghetti earlier this week but wanted  something quick and easy.

It's been a tiring day. Carpet fitters finished and we've been busy putting everything back, plus a load of washing and did my weekly shop. 😴

Today's plan - 
B- HEB porridge, strawberries (S), HEA 1 milk 
L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S) 
S meatballs with spaghetti and tomato sauce (P, S, F), HEA 2 Parmesan 
Syns - LTL mayo 1,, weekend wine 😁

Maman he looks better today and said he is not in as much pain, but i told you last couple of daus he said he was ok 😂 i knew he wasn't! After 38 yrs together i know if he's ok or not!

I really have a thing for these ryvita crackers as a sandwich lately, think it's the crunch!

DH said to me about my tea, do i have enough beetroot? 🤣 i said no not really 🤣🤣

I think the next time my consultant asks me to give tips to new members I'll have to say beetroot!! 🤣 I eat loads as it's such an easy way to bump up the Speed. 😁

Hi everyone, long time no see 😊

We are back from Seattle - the holiday of a lifetime with the family did not disappoint. Spent a fair bit but worth every penny. Food very carb heavy - first veg I saw was a celery stick garnish on a platter of wings the boys ordered midweek so I grabbed it like my life depended on it. 

I’ve been getting back to normal this week with food. Didn’t put anything on whilst away - at least if I did, it’s now gone. Still a way to go to get back to target range but I’m not going to obsess. 

I DSis and BIL are coming for tea tonight and I’ll do bolognaise with GF pasta as they are both GF. Shopping delivery is coming this morning. I have been keeping busy with the washing mountain this week and some life admin that I’d been putting off. 

Also came back to a dead squirrel in the hall that had got in whilst we were away - caused destruction and had a (potentially) slow demise having helped himself to some Ferrero Rocher. So gross and have had to steam clean everywhere. 

I caught up on the thread in the early hours as was wide away at 3am. Hope @joedenise is having a fab time away. A date @Jellybaby?? We need the deets. Hope DH is doing okay @bubbs. Exciting to have a wedding to look forward to @beanielou - hope you feel brighter soon - sending hugs xx

Nice to ‘see’ you again @Coxy11 👋 your trip sounds fab - not so much the squirrel!

I lost a pound this morning. Happy with that and hope it continues! Almost into the next half stone bracket.

I had coffee and banana in group and have some lentil soup from the freezer for lunch.  Dinner is steak, chips and loads of roasted veg.  My dad sent DS2 home with a gammon joint (??🤣) so that’s in the slow cooker for dinner tomorrow and I’ll make more lentil soup with the stock.

Well done Jelly 👏👏 i had a maintain so had to put 1 shoe on 🤣🤣 that weighed a 1lb!! but in a good place for my hols, i'll be good this week and have a "few" treats next week 😘😘

We did have a laugh in group, a friend who i sit near made us crack up, i really had the giggles 🤣 she has 2 curly wurly in the car, on the WAY to group she thought she may well eat them up to get them out the way 🤣🤣🤣 i have the giggles typing this, someone said next time chuck them out the window 🤣🤣was sooooo funny.

Maman i just love beetroot
