@Jellybaby hard to resist ice cream, I don't have much in, makes it easier.
@Coxy11 long time (and only time) I visited Sissinghurst - love it.
2lbs gain at WI today, not too bad after 3.5 weeks holiday and a birthday, must really buckle down an get back into range,
Syns so far today just 2 for a wee bit of tinned peach in syrup, just 2 little slices to provide some sweetness with yogurt and fruit. Scrambled eggs on toast 1 EHB no butter and a few baked beans to finish the tin.
Tea should be(1 for me)  butcher's sausage and grilled veg, OH choice as he is a bit down ATM 6.5 Syns.

Jumping in to say that someone on another diary makes ice cream with frozen mango chunks, low fat yogurt and milk - just whizz it all together with a decent blender. I've not tried it, but it sounds good.

    Morning all,

NWD today and DDad hoping to go to London today. He tried yesterday but the trains were messed up - a replacement bus part of the way due to a trackside fire. No way was I letting a partially-deaf 85 year old have to do that. DS2 took him to the station and rang me to tell me about the issues so I said to come back home. Only he’d already offered an elderly lady a lift to the next station as there’s no taxi rank. She got in the car with her sholley then proceeded to tell DS2 and DDad that she needed to get to the police station as was on probation after 7 years in prison for stabbing her husband! DS2 couldn’t wait to drop her off - honestly couldn’t make it up 🤣

    ……and onto food….

Slight change to lunch plans yesterday as I had a leftover portion of sticky pork and noodles in the fridge - only 2 syns. Dinner was grilled gammon and salad with four chips as DDad had a big lunch and didn’t fancy his chips.

    Food today:
    B - spinach and cheese omelette - P, S, HEA
    L - rice pot with pickles - Free, S
    D - bolognaise bake - P, Free, S
    HEA - milk
    HEB - skinny oaty
    Syns - not sure yet

    Have a good day all

Oh my your poor DS 🤣 @Coxy11

Well I’m still here plodding along - lots of bumps on the road though 😉😳. I’m thinking this is my week for going s*d it with SW. But I know I’ll be back on plan 100% soon cos my tummy issues are starting to play up.  I’m feeling really out of sorts, horrible feeling.

Anyway, out for breakfast this morning and dinner tonight!  Think I’m on the wrong thread 🤣🤣🤣

    Have a good day everyone!

I’m not surprised they couldn’t wait to drop the passenger off Coxy  😳 Just shows you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover 😂
We’re just back from a few days in Millie Motorhome. I haven’t been to Skegness for about 40 years. I didn’t remember much. The centre wasn’t for me….too many rides but I did enjoy walking through them and jumping on the bus to a NT and a couple of quieter seaside places. It was so hot though but really windy some of the time.
I tried to make good choices. I didn't always succeed but don’t think I did too bad. I’ll weigh myself in the morning and weigh in Wednesday. We went to one place for a walk and the wind was whipping up sandstorms….the sky went black and they’d forecast thunder. We headed from the seafront to town and found a little old fashioned Italian restaurant. I ordered one of ‘Geraldo’s special salads’ when it arrived it had lots of the usual lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber…..it also had some sort of pickled basil, artichoke, Gorgonzola cheese, Parmesan, a selection of cured meats, ham and chicken with toasted ciabatta- i dread to think how many syns but it was delicious. And all for under £10….it was massive. Several cooling ciders might have also passed my lips. We did quite a lot of walking….but spent a lot of time travelling on the open top buses for the breeze 😂

    Evening,
Thought I’d posted this morning but clearly not!
That’s a tiny gain given you’ve been away @milann. Good luck for next week.
Hope you can get back into bottom
range tomorrow @bubbs - feels wrong to be hoping you have a gain!!
I had a banana and blueberries for breakfast, Greggs sweet potato falafel for lunch and SW chicken curry with spinach for tea. Am having a little glass of wine as it’s Friday and we are watching Glastonbury from the comfort of our sofa(!)
Might try park run tomorrow with DS2 - it will be boiling 🥵
