    Morning all

Boo to the gain @Coxy11 but continuing with the good choices, you’ll have it off next week.

Reading your menu @joedenise has reminded me I have beef olives in the freezer! I don’t eat them but DS2 will be a happy chappy 😁

It’s very wintry here. I want the sun and heat back. I’ve spent the morning dealing with an outstanding issue that has the potential to turn into a legal issue - at my expense. A letter of complaint is drafted 😉

I had toast HEXB, bacon medallions, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans for brunch and having leftover chicken, roast potatoes and veg for dinner.

We had a lovely time in London. It was a tad stressful at times as we travelled around on the buses and Dh seemed to have the phone permanently attached to his had as we navigated around 😂🥴 I dread to think what he’d be like if we travelled abroad 😳 He had a mini panic once home about The Dartford Crossing charge as his payment hadn’t gone through….anyway he actually managed to speak to somebody and sorted it out.
sW well and truly went out of the window whilst we were there. We seemed live on  Meal Deals and fast food except one evening when we had a gorgeous curry….and Naan bread that was to die for 🤭☺️ It was in a scruffy little street with some dubious characters hanging around but it was a gem of a place…delicious food and spotlessly clean…and the only decent looking place around and totally out of place.
So we arrived home on Friday evening and I’ve counted every syn since. I did weigh at home Saturday morning and put 2lb on in 4 days…..thankfully it seems to have disappeared again this morning. My 12 week countdown starts this week as I booked my last week holiday for last week. My plan is to get to target by the end of it (or as close as possible) then I won’t need to pay if I miss a week as I’ve no holiday left.
I’ll weigh in on Wednesday this week instead of Thursday as we’re off to dds in laws Thursday until Sunday…..funnily enough about a mile or so from the National Trust place in Hampshire. We saw the beautiful roses when we went a couple of years ago. There will be a big family gathering over the weekend - we’ll stay in Millie Motorhome in the garden. We all chip in foodwise. I’ve always made the cakes but there’s always plenty of meats and salads  with fruit and yoghurt available (along with lots of croissants etc🫣) for breakfast. We usually have a pizza meal on Saturday when most people first arrive. I’ll load on the salad and have a slither of pizza. I’ve got my determined head on 👍 We’ll  take our host to the local pub Thursday as a Thankyou and Friday we’ll have a meat and potato pie I’ll cook beforehand and take with us (basically stew with a pasty crust) I’ll just give the pastry a miss 👍 I think I’ve got this 🤞
Bubbs it sounds as if your Dh is going in the right direction 👍 I’m sure his appetite will come back in time.
Have lovely holiday Joedenise and Maman 👍

    Evening all .

Boo hoo coxy, i am sure you will shift that this week.

    Denise safe travels for tomorrow.

DH said he wants to go seaside for a few days so we have just booked sunny hunny in a nice apartment 20-23rd June 😁Hopefully we will have some nice weather, but do you know what if it isn't we are away.

Milann , glad you had a lovely time and i am sure you are right he will, he is also uncomfortable on the dining chairs which does not help and hates eating a proper tea o his lap, so won't do that either 😂 but he wants to go on a jolly tomorrow so we are going company shop 😜

Did my deliveries today, talking to a customer, her hubby has bladder cancer 😢 just the same as dh, fluke because he asked for a urine sample to be checked as was concerned it was darkerthan normal. How we didn't see them in Urology i'll never know, he had his op sat, but same time frame as dh before hand.

Food today, 2 crispbread 2 syns, scraping of cheese spread, part hexa, ham and beetroot, tomato and seafood sticks, watermelon

Tea double burger, hexb , hexa, bns and salad.

You chose both the best and the busiest time to go to Mottisfont @Coxy11 but the walled gardens and the roses are always worth a visit. It's a 10 minute drive for me @milann so we go there often.

Shame about the gain @Coxy11 but well done for getting straight back on plan. It will bring results.

So pleased you've booked a break @bubbs and good news that DH wants to get out and about. He must be starting to feel more himself. 👍

    I'm back on plan today.
B- HEB toast, eggs, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA 1 milk for drinks
    L- LO casserole (P, F, S)
D- meatballs and spaghetti in tomato sauce (P, F, S), HEA 2 Parmesan
    Syns - 0 although I'm fancying some chocolate 🤔

Maman , he hasn't felt great today but thinks going out will do him good for a little while and he wants to go that way .
Yes he said he needs to get away, it's not very MSE as could probably go abroad for a week for the cost , but who wants to be the richest in the graveyard?  so we are going 😁as he don't want to go abroad

Good to hear you’ve booked a little break @bubbs. We enjoyed our time away and I’m looking to do another weekend break in September for my birthday. Haven’t told DH yet though lol.

I woke with a sore throat yesterday and thought it was hay fever but it didn’t shift, so I had to keep popping the lozenges at work - probably at least 2 syns each! Was really bad last night so deployed some chocolate too as was feeling very fed up.

I have my Dad staying now for a few days. I’m picking him up from DSis this morning. We are going out to the local market town so will have lunch out - not sure what yet!!

B - poached egg on GF toast - P, HEB
    L - ??
D - chicken in tomato and mascarpone sauce, new potatoes, broccoli - P, HEA, free, S
    HEA - milk
    Syns - ??

Have a good day all and safe journey @joedenise xx

    Morning all

Have a fabulous holiday ladies!  @joedenise and @maman

Nice wee break away will do you both the world of good @bubbs.  I hope a few bags of Percy’s will be scoffed 😁

I’m having problems with my car fob. Keep replacing the battery but I think the sensor of something has gone so that’s today’s job to sort. I got locked out of it twice yesterday, then it wouldn’t start what a carry on it was 🙈

Anyway, food wise I really enjoyed yesterday’s toast and mini fry up so having it again and it’s meatballs with spaghetti for dinner.  Although there’s a tomato sauce I’m going to roast some toms with onions, mushrooms and broccoli as they need using up to have on the side.

Morning all, got up earlier than usual this morning, about 6am so had plenty of time before I needed to go out for my waxing session before holiday.  I've got my hairdresser coming in about an hour or so's time so that too will be sorted before the holiday.

Glad your DH feels up to going out today @bubbs and also getting a few days away booked.  It will do both of you a world of good.

DH has now changed him mind about driving down to the ferry tonight so I suspect it's going to be a bad night's sleep with keep waking up knowing I've got to get up at silly o'clock (I think about 4am!).

It's very much a use it up day for food today!

    So today's plan:

    B - eggs, mushrooms, beans, toast - HEB; P; S; F
    L - minced beef hash - P; S; F
    D - seabass and miso risotto; strawberries, grapes - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned

Safe journey @maman and enjoy your holiday.

    Have a good day everyone.
