No problem @Coxy11. That's 1.5 syns for the quarter of the pack. I could see they sold them in B&M but, unlike the major supermarkets, they didn't list the food values.
I'd certainly try to go the night before @joedenise. Fortunately, we don't fly until about 2pm so no early start for us.
I've done a meal plan for the next few days and it's only potatoes that I might have a problem using up. If necessary, I'll make some oven chips or roast potatoes for the freezer.0 -
Thank you @maman. That’s not too bad - just need to make sure I don’t eat more than 25g - always a danger when you open a packet!!Cross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 25/25 Currently reading Guilty by Definition by Susie Dent0

Cheeky b*gger @bubbs!
Glad that your DH is getting the "signal" to go to the loo!
At least I can take anything which is left with going in the motorhome but don't think there will be much other than maybe a couple of onions and a few potatoes. There certainly won't be any salad as we'll have eaten all that and the menu plan uses mainly HM ready meals from the freezer.0 -
Denise, me cheeky?! No way 🤣🤣
Yes it's really good he knows when to go, he did say think they took half my stomach away, as although he is eating only half of what he normally does, but like Mum said he is not using energy like normalSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -

Afternoon all, it's a very weird day weatherwise! It was warm and bright first thing when we left home for DH's Dermatology appointment about 8.15am. Bit of rain in the air when we came out of the clinic and drove to our local Morries for the last bit of shopping (I hope!) but no need for wipers. Done the shopping and just got back to the car and the heavens opened! DH was feeling a bit light headed so he jumped in the passenger seat and had something to eat while I drove home and needed the wipers on full pelt and headlights on! Still raining when we got home and finally shopped about half hour later. It's now brilliant sunshine! The positive of course is that the water butts are full so need for the hose for a couple of days. Having said that the forecast isn't too good for tomorrow with a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms!
Pleased to say DH's lesions are nothing to worry about - they're all warts of different types. However the one we were concerned about as it is very itchy and sometimes bleeds and apparently that is a very tiny cyst and the dr said not to worry about it unless it grows considerably!
Today's plan:
B - weetabix, milk, frozen fruit - HEB; HEA2; S
L - LO bourguignon, chips (very French!) - P; S; F
D - keema pasty, salad - P; S; F; syns?
HEA1 and 2 - milk
HEB - weetabix
Syns - need to work out syns - it's a PON recipe so will post later once I've worked it out.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Hi all 👋👋 I’m back from Palma and can thoroughly recommend it! I did loads of sightseeing and walking and used public transport quite a bit. I did get lost twice but it was mini adventures haha.
No alcohol 😇😇 but made up for it in food! Had breakfast in the hotel, usually fruit and yoghurt then some toast with tomatoes and cheese. Stopped a couple of times at cafes for late lunch and found I didn’t need anything for dinner as I was still stuffed.
The hotel was in the old town and beautiful. It had a very lively bar below it so thank heavens for soundproofing! I think I’d look for an air bnb next time now I know my way around to make it a bit cheaper as the hotel was rather expensive.
Washing out on the line but sneaky showers are on and off so may need to pull the aider out to get it dry. Shopping all done too. No idea how WI will go tomorrow but I don’t feel particularly bloated so fingers crossed!
Will try and read back later if I don’t doze off but hope you are all well!0 -
Afternoon all 😁
Been odd weather wise here as well, its very warm keep having heavy spots then stops, but we are under a massive weather warning for tomorrow 🙄
Jelly glad you had a lovely holiday .
Denise, glad DH's lesions are nothing to worry about 👏
I have had a busy day doing orders, DH goes hard work on your own isn't it? I said yes it is!
He wouldn't know as never done it on his own 🤣
Had a picky plate and 1 syn for lunch
