@Brie @DigForVictory Yep, the pink/blue one is silk. 👍 The label belongs to the orange/yellow one.
This week’s trip to Otley provided a pair of plain, straight legged, black wool mix trousers by Brook Taverner, lined to below the knee, 99p and a pair of low heeled beige shoes in exactly the same shade as the recently purchased L K Bennett coat for £2.99 as they were in the ‘quality’ section😊
My desktop pooter ‘died’ yesterday and despite my best efforts I cannot resurrect it, (11 yr old iMac no longer supported with system updates). Common sense tells me it’s time for a new one🥵 rather than a repair. I’ve seen one at a good price on Amazon Resale…( box damaged, contents immaculate). .Just wondered if anyone has had any experience with this section of Amazon? Sorry for going o/t…..just trying to save money on a big purchase!!!8 -

💡 Oooooooh…..is that Bill of Bill’s Kitchen? If it is I shall have to keep my eyes open for a copy!Rosa_Damascena said:I was so happy to pick up a pristine copy of Bill's "Cook, Eat, Smile" for just 20p - what a delight! Although it's not vegetarian, the book clearly celebrates fresh seasonal produce and I am encouraged to try its recipes as we head into winter.
Thanks @beanielou for the reassurance re Amazon Resale….have taken the plunge! At least returns & refunds are easy if necessary.7 -
I bought a Windows laptop from Amazon Resale a couple of years ago and it's still going strong. There wasn't a mark on it, just a damaged box.Miró said:@Brie @DigForVictory Yep, the pink/blue one is silk. 👍 The label belongs to the orange/yellow one.

@Potternerd - I love the H&M jacket, very Adam Ant!! (Don't you ever....).
I had a good chaz find during a morning walk yesterday - a Phase Eight "knitcoat" perfect for the season for all of £5, RRP £125!
What was also perfect was the weather for giving it a gentle handwash - warm and blustery - which is what dragged me away from my desk at that time in the first place! On the line by 11am, drip-dried by 4pm. I just hope I look as good wearing it as the model

I went to the hospice charity shop on Leigh road yesterday and bought a red jumper (only Primark but quite nice) a cat Halloween cup and a green mac style coat.6

Got a bit of a Denby bargain today in the St Gemma’s hospice shop in Otley. 4 x 24cm salad/dessert plates from the Denby White Porcelain Collection…..99p for all four 😲. Chinasearch are selling a set of four for £32 and Denby have a similar set for £68! I love plain white china for everyday so this will be used along with the bog standard Ikea 365 stuff. Must have been daydreaming on my walk home as I tripped and very nearly fell over…..all I could think as I nearly hit the pavement was….”must save the Denby!!!” Funnily enough I saw a set of 4 dinner plates from the same range in one of the chazza shops in Thirsk on Saturday priced at £20.
