Morning all
The snow cloud dumped on our high village last night, followed by icy rain banging at the windows. This morning, it is regular rain and the snow has pretty much gone. It’s a grim looking day outside, so I have taken the difficult decision to stay indoors 😉.
Wm is nearly finished, and hanging the washing up will likely be my one and only flying job for today. I have a newly started library book plus the end of my knitting is within sight. Too many distractions there to occupy me. I will make the effort to meal plan at some point today (I am the weird person who actually enjoys that challenge) - the fridges are nearly cleared of random plastic boxes and veg that needs eating. A few more things have made it to the cs bag. Slowly, slowly.
Oh, I have managed a short wake up yoga. After all these years, I seem to have worked out that morning yoga suits me far better than working round an evening session. I guess it is all about having the opportunity and motivation, and for that I am currently considering myself very fortunate.

Morning all, It's very cold here today and underfoot is slippy, had a couple of slips when out with the dog but both got back home safely.
My list for today
Declutter the desk as back to work tomorrow
Take down festive decorations
Deal with Mr T order and put away tidily
Sort through the fridge and remove anything out of date.
Dismantle the spare bed in the office.
Spend an hour in the office decluttering/decorating
HHI
Look into listing items on Vinted (never used it before so any tips/advice welcome)
Make sure clothes etc are ready for tomorrow morning
Have some me time before heading back to work
I think that is everything that I need to get done today. Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday.

Morning all
a fair bit of snow out there, hoping it’ll clear a bit as I need to take mum her meds.
Made marmalade yesterday, in two batches. Also used a muslin to make a mini jelly bag for pith and pips for batch 2 which is better than using a whole napkin as I did for batch 1.
Strands with no hints, in about 2 minutes and got the yellow words first!
Today there’ll be admin including logging into apps on new phone. DD has gone skiing in Tignes. She could have stayed here lolDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Good afternoon 😊
Round I hope you are okay after your slip up yesterday. And hopefully no real damage done to either car either 🤞
Dizzy hugs to you. I'm sorry you lost your day off. You are a better person than me!
I had a bit of a lazy day yesterday. I was up & (reluctantly) ready for parkrun, but SiL didn't text to say she wasn't going until 8:40. I didn't go, but took myself for a walk in the park later to make up for it & get some steps in/exercise. It is the walking that I miss about not having a dog. At least it got me out!
DS & his GF played on the switch downstairs, so I joined them for a while. I made a start on my accounts - and long way to go yet! Luckily this is 24/25. Last years tax return is all done & dusted 😇 As I looked in to the top of my box file I noticed my folder with premium bonds details. I joked that I hadn't won anything since November 😂 Then shortly afterwards I received an email to say I had won another prize!! £25. That makes £100 since March when I added to my holding of £2 that I had since birth!! It is basically money put aside for tax bills. Result!
This morning I have done WM x2 and emptied the DW & reloaded. I did wordle in 6 (basically ran out of options/letters!), connections with 2 lives lost and strands with no hints (only my 3rd day of doing this one). I am going to empty the TD & reload and think about some lunch.
Hopefully the rain will stop soon & then I plan to go for another walk. Then I won't feel guilty about sitting on the sofa 😂
I need to look up SW groups as I need to get back on it 😩 We have a big holiday at the end of April & I don't want to have to buy new shorts!!
Have a good Sunday all x6 -

Sorry about the fall and the prang Round. Just as well to get it all over the in the 12 Days of Christmas so that after Epiphany life with flow smoothly.Very little achieved today so far but Wren had a good long walk. I'm so out of it I got Belovéd's birthday wrong yesterday - it's tomorrow, but he's having his birthday dinner tonight which is what confused me.We're both tired so we're taking it a bit easier today; I've tidied the dining room so all the laundry is folded and away and my donations/tip/car gibble is neatly stacked at one end of the table out of sight because our lovely neighbour is joining us for roast beef. He's done the vacuuming which seems like a fair exchange to me. He doesn't mind doing it, and I don't mind doing laundry so that's all good. I've been doing some touching up of the plaster and paintwork in the en suite over the last few days and it'll take another day's efforts to finish it tomorrow. I'll be glad to have that little irritation finished. The front path is minging. It's been bothering me for years. It's a communal area, owned by the Residents' Association which is one of the reasons it gets left. Three houses have, once at various times individually, pressure washed the sections in front of their houses, but don't seem to get the idea that all the muck gets walked up or flows down the paths so just doing their own bits is a little bit pointless. I was hoping for a weather window this summer when it was warm and very wet, but it never happened, it was cold and wet the whole summer. This morning I grabbed the scrubber and a spray bottle of fla$h after the deluge we had overnight and with minimal effort I reckon I can scrub the whole length of the path on our side, and if I time it right the rain will wash all the scrubbings away. I'm pleased to say my test patches worked amazingly well but I did have to rinse them with clean water because the muck they released was so vile and that's the bit I can't be doing with because of my lack of stamina. Scrubbing's fine, carrying masses of watering cans of water backwards and forwards through the house isn't on. But at least I know the plan will work. I need the path to be completely soaked when I do it, and I need really heavy rain after. I don't want to be scrubbing in rain because that would involve wearing waterproofs and I'd overheat.I've got to find four items of clothing to declutter and inspiration is not happening today, but no doubt something will spring to mind at some point. I don't want to have to find 11 items of clothing tomorrow, because that would be a lot in one hit. All the other categories are fully up to date with a fair bit to spare but clothing is one of those areas I have pretty much stayed on top of for quite a long time and holey stuff gets put with my hiking/camping/holiday gear so I can conscience-clear chuck after wearing it. I might have to start on the 'good stuff, even if I never wear it'. That's the tough bit of decluttering but it's got to be done. I think the trick is to get it out of the house asap after putting it in the donate box. I could, after all, go back to the CS and buy it back if I really did change my mind. We've meal planned for the week between us so I won't have to think about that again, and we don't need to go shopping either. Win:win.Better is good enough.7

Ouchies Round 😖 hope you’re not too bruised & that Kevin is an easy/simple repair! (Also that your uncles car doesn’t require any!)
OH & I have been away for the night to a lovely hotel (Xmas gift to ourselves) the bedroom was beautiful and we really did managed to relax and eat well. Weather was grim and very cold.
Since our return we have tidied bits n bobs, got the recycling and rubbish done.
Airer cleared of washing, packed away then refilled it with more..
I hoovered upstairs (after helping DS2 with trimming his beard) then took it apart to give it a good clean, also emptied the bag.
Now watching footie.. nothing planned for this evening, not sure we even want food..perhaps soup will do!@Honey_Bear I applaud your efforts with the pathways, our shared area to the rear of my house is often littered with rubbish/recycling that’s been blown about, yet it’s only myself and our next door neighbour that ever bothers to collect it up to dispose of it. The last couple of years we’ve also de-weeded all the kerbs and areas that were overgrown as it just looked awful to anyone walking by. I’m grateful to have a lovely neighbour who shares the need to keep things clean 🤣"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇8 -
