No excuse to be in the tlc carriage but I would be first in line for the crumble @QueenJess. Sounds scrummy. Sorry to hear about your DD. This bug seems to be doing the rounds. Well done on your early rising @Mrs_Salad_Dodger. Normal service returns today🤭 So sorry to hear about poor puss @Crazycatlady2. They give us so much pleasure we owe it to them to know when it’s time, but it’s so heartbreaking to have to actually make the decision. Hugs for you.Not done anything on the declutterring front today. Feeling a bit “Sundayish”. Walked the dog, did some washing, but now just knitting, reading and watching tv, so hoping I can discover my mojo next week and get on with Jettison January before Fling-it February looms. Have a good afternoon everyone.13

@Florenceem
If we say hugs I would think you could take that to mean prayers too, well at least from me, as you are in our hearts with your current struggles. When my OH was unwell one of the women I work with told me she would pray for us. I thought that an odd thing but I realise that it's her offering of hugs or vibes or support in a way that works for her. I think we all do that in our special ways.
And meanwhile - forever the optimist here - when Mr F is recovered a bit please insist that he is not released from the hospital until your home has been made ready for him. So hand rails wherever needed, a structure around the toilet to make sitting/standing easier, rolling table to go over his easy chair so he has a way to hold a book etc. All of these should be supplied free by your hospital occupational therapist in conjunction with the council's social services team. Stomp your little foot if you won't throw a full tantrum to get your way. They should also be arranging for carers to come and assist with getting him in/out of bed, dressed, and all the rest as required.
Please know that they can't take your home or insist that you yourself pay out of your savings for anything. They will want to know about Mr F's finances and so will consider any bank account that is solely in his name and 50% of any that are joint with you. They will look at his pension or any other income but assess how much of that can be considered as it has to help support you and the house you both live in. £23k for his savings is the limit for determining how much is free or needs to be paid for. Please do not at any point let them bully you into paying more and making yourself destitute. (not that I would imagine anyone could actually bully you much)
Hoping that you find him in a better state today. Helloooooo! I was going great guns and then…..all my energy just fell away 😥
MRI decluttered yesterday. Was supposed to have gone out for a birthday meal with hubby and family but wasn’t up to it. These things happen!
Managed to get out and do a bit of shopping it’s 8 degrees!!!!!! Positive heatwave. Also managed to parallel park after 3 attempts when I got back…admittedly there was a landing strip which helped.
Scores on the doors…..
41-42 email
43 keyring
44 uu toiletry box
45 uu toothpaste
46-47 frog
Hubbys bad throat was getting better and now the pain is back again. 🤬 this is ridiculous. The Dr should have given him more than 6 antibiotics for his tonsillitis.
I predict Strong Words tomorrow…..
Take care all xxx MrsSD please don’t worry about responding to my posts individually…..it’s mostly drivel 😁⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Next to do, pack gym back and meal prep.

Beautiful pictures BlueJ
No visible decluttering today but i have spent the last 5 hours completing some online training for one of my volunteering roles, just a webinar to go to on the 6th February and that will be the induction training completed.
I really sorry to hear about your cat Crazycatlady2 i can only repeat the wise words of Duchess2 it's the last act of love for our pets and with previous cats i've felt they have told me when they are ready

Another 47 items out today, including 2 huge fluffy duvet cover things that shed terribly; swear that alone has cleared half the room. DD has shared her cold though, so hopeful I can declutter than soon as I feel somewhat woebegone and extremely snuffly so this evening will be spent in by the fire rather than sorting in the garage as planned.
Hope all have had a good weekend2025 in 2025- 2027/2025

- Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
DSis is doing her washing, 1st load done & now tumble drying. We finally found a use for the tins of refried beans 😉 DH added them to the vegetable soup he made yesterday evening & they have given the soup a real depth of flavour 😋 Now back to cheerleading:
Absolutely brilliant news dND 🥳 Firstly very pleased to hear that you are exploring your new area 😊, secondly that you have decluttered all your knitted items - *54 in total 🥳👏 & thirdly, once all the building work, decorating & decluttering is done, you will be able to knit to your heart’s content knowing that you have somewhere to donate to 😇 *This number merits an award, so please accept a shiny Gold Star ⭐️ Good luck with the marmalade production line 🍀
florianatwobob, it might be a “small” declutter in your eyes but it will have a huge impact 👏 What a great idea for using up bits of candles 😇
Muddy_Walker, sorry to hear about work related issues affecting your mental health 😔 I have contacted our lovely staff in the TLC Carriage who have made an emergency chocolate purchase & you get first dibs 😊 Sadly no apple crumble & cream as far as I am aware 😉 Hope the chocolate is working its magic 🤞
weenancy, I am so relieved to hear that you & your family are safe 🥲 & am praying that this is continuing to be the case 3 days later 🙏
Lovely post Blue_Doggy 😊 A busy day on Thursday - you got a lot done 👏 I am especially impressed that you are still ploughing through the insurance document 🤩 Hopefully there aren’t too many more pages to get through 🤞
TC77, shame that you have been so busy at work ☹️ Just wondering if management actually filled all the vacancies or if you are still short-handed? It sounds like you need to spend some time in the TLC Carriage 🙏 just to clear your mind & have a rest 🙏 You have had an excellent start to your 2025 Decluttering campaign - you are well ahead on your numbers 👏 Good luck for the weekend 🍀
Brambling, bad news/goods about your hip needing replacing 🤨 Hopefully you won’t have to wait too long 🙏 after all the sooner it is done the sooner you can start your recovery 🙂 An excellent decluttering & tidying session 👏 I do hope you remembered to take a before & after photo to remind yourself of your success 😊
🥳 now cheerleading posts dated the 10th 💃
Excellent decluttering vulpix 👏 you have been busy 😊 Mind you I suppose it is one way to keep warm & cheaper than having the heating on 😅 This “I will do the rest another time, I don't want all the excitement in one day!” had me in stitches 🤣
Excellent work on Thursday Liverpool_Anne 👏 I hope that your forward planning worked & you got to the funeral on time & safely 🙏 What a thoughtful cheerleading post, full of useful & pertinent information 🥹
🤩 foxandflowers, what an excellent decluttering session 👏 I need to hire you to help me with decluttering my wardrobe as you have definitely demonstrated an extraordinary ability as a wardrobe declutterer 😊
Wednesday2000, good luck with the electronic decluttering, especially the cables 🍀 Unfortunately in our house, DH is the ‘keeper of the cables’ & has 2 full crates 😱 Somehow, even though I ask regularly, he never quite gets around to decluttering them 😞 Maybe this time hope will triumph over experience 🤨😉PoGrannyKate, sounds like the electricians aren’t wasting any time 👏 What a lovely surprise to find some unexpected & unaccounted for money 🥳 I do hope you will use at least some of it for a treat 😊
Lovely post ruby_eskimo 😊 How exciting - a new kitchen 🥳 Now that you have planned it in your head it sounds like it is time for measuring, putting it down on paper & getting quotes 😉 Fingers crossed that you can get the ball rolling & will have a new kitchen in the not too distant future 🤞
vulpix, that is cold -8°C, brass monkeys weather 🥶 We have been lucky as I think the coldest temperature we have had is -4°C 🥲 Such a shame about the jumper 😔 but having said that I think you must have known subconsciously that it would be too big hence your reluctance to sort out the neck 😉 I hope you have had a lovely time at the petting zoo with your grandson 😊
redofromstart, sorry to hear about the grotty cold ☹️ but pleased to hear that you are starting to feel better 🙂 Just wondering how much longer you have the skip? Great news that you are “starting to have areas of 'clear'” 🥳
Excellent decluttering CRANKY40 👏 Congratulations on finding a method that works for you 🥳
ionafan, thanks for the recommendation re tin opener 👏 My current one is still going strong (touch wood) but I will keep OXO Good Grips in mind for the future 🙂 Good luck with the photo sorting 🍀
Another page caught up 😊 Now it is time to turn my thoughts & actions to preparing/cooking dinner & being extra careful to use the correct oven 😂
P.S. Three magazines recycled nos. 66 to 68
See you later 👋

Brie - I had all the aids installed when Mr F came out of hospital in 2023.
Having carers in wouldn't work if he were to be how he was when I had to have him taken to hospital - I can't cope with being up in the night while he is on the toilet for 6 hours - then had to be forcibly removed. Just not going to happen.
I was taken to the hospital today by my friend's hubby and asked the nurse about speaking to a Doctor.
Nurses and I were unable to wake Mr F - he hasn't eaten or drunk since 6 pm on Thursday. They tried to put some high calorie food in his mouth - he spat it out.
Mr F went for a scan on his abdomen while I was there - looking for infection site as his blood tests show an issue but he has had raised levels of inflammation in his blood since November and numerous antibiotics.
He had a fluid drip and a glucose one up as his blood sugar was very low. They are struggling to raise his temperature - he was swaddled in blankets - even around his head.
Mr F didn't wake when they changed his clothes and bedding.
His blood pressure is low too.
He was in the same unit as yesterday.
We don't have any joint bank accounts.
I did have a frank discussion with the Doctor.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Thank you Mrs SD, you’re right, the odds and ends of candles will make a huge difference to the final recipients. In a similar vein yesterday I posted off some (not my favourite) pens and pencils to another charity who distributes them to kids in countries who need them to go to school.Apart from that the soft plastic went to the supermarket and DSis & I went to the garden centre where we, quite by chance, also found one of our cousins, her husband and their youngest. We decluttered gossip & cake.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)
