Nara to feed the deer. Some were very cute but would persist in pestering you even if you had genuinely run out of crackers to feed them. I had a number of bruises on my behind as the sharp nips got out of hand after a while. Otherwise they were really cute and it was a personal highlight of the trip.

Saturday saw the decluttering of the ironing pile. The basket remained empty for about 2 hours before the washing came in!!
Sunday saw me doing a bit of a summer/winter clothes switch over.I found a few bits to leave for the CS. Also pulled some bits to the front of drawers to see if I’ll wear them. If not they’ll leave too.✒️ Declutter 2025 🏅👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

@regnbue What a great experience for you, one of my DGS Ben went to Japan a couple of years ago when he was at Uni and said of all the countries he has visited, (and he's been to a good few) it was the best place he has ever been.
He was toying with the idea last year of possibly teaching English out there as he is a teacher, but a very pretty girlfriend and love has put paid to that idea I think
But he said it was a brilliant place and the folk were so hospitable and polite and it was very beautiful.
Well today DD and I went to The Range and as I expected we decluttered a fair bit of cash as their candles are so nice .
I bought a few for Christmas gifts for friends They have a fantastic one called English Pear and Freesia thats gorgeous and I got one for one of my granddaughters.I may return and buy some more if I can, they are all reasonably priced as well. I have has their Sicilian lemon one before and that too is great all between £3-4 each which doesn't break the bank. lots of good reductions which is useful
Dreadful bursts of heavy rain all day, not costant just downpours, then it stops suddenly and a break for half an hour or so then down it comes again weird weather today.
Only just over 6 weeks until Christmas its just whizzing but still having started my shopping I'm hoping I will get it done and wrapped by the end of this month
Onwards and upwards chums

regnbue, I’ve long been an admirer of Japan. Photos are amazing, looks like you had a fabulous time.
Decluttered a LOT of bits from the tumbler dryer. I always clean the filter after every single use, but today, after drying the towels, I got the mini hoover and my long bendy brush - like a bottle brush but very long, sturdy and stiff. Got all the fluffs out from everywhere, even cleaned the wall behind and the floor.Every bit of washing done, dried and waiting to go upstairs.
Decluttered 4 weeks worth of papers to friend who has the rabbits, poor love called when it was absolutely pouring down.
Decluttered eBay sale via Royal Mail.
Dinner from freezer plus some leftover veg in fridge.
Have a good night all, sweet dreams xxSaving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Just a note to say that if anyone has listings on Vinted, they have very frustratingly changed their sizings.
Now they are in pairs - S 8-10, M 12-14, L16-18 etc, BUT they have also reset the sizes on every listing.
So I have some 16s listed which were an XL, which is now a 20-22. I've spent some time editing every listing to show the UK size in the title, and "XL 16-18".2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

If I ever get to Japan, I would probably spend the whole time in the department stores looking at the new gadgets and space saving devices they have.12

What a stupid update. A size 8 is very different from a size 10, a size 12 is very different from a size 14 etc. It means you have to click on every individual item now to see if they post the actual size to know if it’ll fit or not. Searching will be a nightmare.Floss said:Just a note to say that if anyone has listings on Vinted, they have very frustratingly changed their sizings.

Beautiful photos regnbue.A very wet day here so I used the opportunity to poke around in the larger spare bedroom. Just a couple of things binned but I added 22 items to the charity pile, although I'll need to check if they take duvet covers and pillow cases otherwise those could be tipped. Items vary in size from a couple of costume jewellery bracelets to the duvet covers so now more than one bag 🙂. The two storage drawers under the bed have been reduced from two full ones to just a half, I may revisit them as I don't think I need four tablecloths! I'm putting off tackling my clothes, in fact I've been doing anything else 🫣.
I did find a small photos of my sister and I as teenagers I don't remember her being so Ginger! she was the only one of us, a couple of us had auburn highlights in dark brown hair but she hit the jackpot from our two red headed grandparents, I just got the temper. Even she was surprised when I sent her a copy of the picture 😁Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin13 -
regnbue, wow, Thank you. What an experience.
Fomo didn't go to the vet yesterday. He voted with his claws and made a mess of Mr V's arm. Another appointment booked for Wednesday.
I don't feel very well. I have messaged the GP. It is just so unwelcoming and difficult to be able to speak to a person. Hence I have put off contacting them for far too long.
