Happy Birthday Mrs SD. I should have a quiet few days now so no excuses for not doing some jobs. The tomatoes have been amazing this year but must nearly be at an end. A few things have come in but they are temporary - I called in Hospice shop, which is near my quiz, to get some Christmas cards and picked up 2x 500 piece jigsaws for DD and a scarf in the exact shades of green/grey she is looking for. Really nice charity shop and a favourite as late DH had wonderful care at the hospice. I did one of the puzzles last night and this morning and it was all there and I washed scarf in some handwash soap. I had a phone call to see if I could go for MRI 7.45am on Sunday - I said fine - they had to cancel last week because of a machine breakdown.
It feels quite chilly today whereas yesterday seemed very mild for November. I spent time tidying desk and dealing with random documents, papers etc. All November cards written and those that need to be have been posted. I have the birthday cards I need for December but still have to buy an anniversary card for niece. That was a beautiful wedding 16 years ago in deep snow - the pictures are magical.
1057 CS bag dropped off
1058 Quiz done and papers thrown away - a fun session with bacon butties as well
1059 Whisky marmalade bought at church hall and given to DIL for her dad
1060 November cards written and most posted
1061 E mails deleted including quite a few from old saved folders
1062 Jigsaw 1 completed and boxed up to take to DD
1063 DS2 came and assembled second bedside table - packaging to recycling
1064 Large random pile of papers sorted and attended to - lots to recycling
1065 Things round the house put away
1066 Two lots of raffle tickets purchased for 2 of the charities I support and tabs and money sent off.
1067 Used postage stamps included in envelope for one of the above as they raise a lot from these each year
1068 Locksmith came and replaced lock on front door. It came with 5 keys but I got 3 more at MrTimpsons. Old keys in metal recycling - money decluttered
1069 Household building and contents insurance sorted.
Before and after desk picture. Still a few frogs to do but no longer just a heap. The note pad is where I record my decluttering.

Happy birthday Mrs SD!Just checking in with my decluttering efforts (mainly using stuff up) this week. I need to do some tidying over the weekend as the place is a bit of a mess and start getting the kids to think about decluttering before xmas. I did move DD's room round earlier and I do think it makes much better use of the space. We will let it settle for the next week or so and then I shall think about moving the hanging string on the wall for DD's pictures.I do have a baby monitor to go as well, but I need to drag the box out of the loft first..Digital:

Big kitchen declutter challenge 139/150There is always more to be used up, but it's hard to remember to use everything. I am currently concentrating on candles (since I like to burn them in the winter when it's dark), using up a few pencils I have left for work notes that are more B than HB and reusing paper (again for work).2025 decluttering: 5,333 🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅🌟🌟2025 use up challenge: 449🥉🥈🥇💎🏆Big kitchen declutter challenge 139/1502025 decluttering goals I Use up Challenge: 🥉365 🥈750 🥇1,000 💎2,000 🏆 3,000 👑 8,000 I 🥉12 🥈26 🥇52 💎 100 🏆 250 👑 5005 -

Happy Birthday @Mrs_Salad_Dodger !!
You are my OH's near twin as his birthday was yesterday. And he very graciously made us dinner too!! I surprised him with a tshirt I'd picked up when we were in Crete - picture of a ancient medallion but made into a record player (his expensive hobby) and I bought some hat boxes off that eb site so he can safely store his many hats which are out of season. I will wait to see what he does and when!!!

Happy Birthday Mrs S_D, I hope that you've had a lovely day.
We had another tidy up spree through ds's room today. Ten empty boxes, packets etc to the recycling and rubbish and a lot of things put away properly. We also dealt with a few bits of his uni admin that had to be done.4 -
Happy Birthday @Mrs_Salad_Dodger hope you’ve had a lovely day. Thank you for medal.
Decluttered a bunch of money today - it’s bill paying day. I like to do all mine in one big hit, which is fine until the blimming apps won’t play nicely. Had to remove and reload a couple and then another one I had to go round the houses to get into. All sorted now and we can breath for another month.
Did a Tesco shop as beef joints on offer, can’t remember who originally posted that but thank you. Delivery tomorrow afternoon, means I can have a lazy start to the day.
Down to the last bit in the raised beds, possibly 2 carrier bags full and then the liner into a black bags. DH then has to take them apart, there will be swearing.
CS collected yesterday, lovely people. Think it was 8 bags and a box of glassware I decluttered from kitchen. Also managed another sale on Vinted.
